My family had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The home is as advertised in the pictures, and we especially enjoyed spending time by the creek in the back yard and at the fire pit.
Second time there, a very beautiful, clean place, well stocked. We used the kitchen and bedrooms, not the showers, but there was ample hot water for dishes. The fire pit was an added bonus, and there is always plenty of wood in the shed. Would definately go again.
Absolutely beautiful location and fully stocked home. Stayed one night and would be happy to stay at this property again. Very convenient to Berkshire East!
The cabin is lovely. Everything you need is there and more. Great location. Went to Crabapple Rafting. Spent a day in Shelburne falls shopping and lunch. Kids really enjoyed our 4 days there.
The cabin was the perfect place to stay after our rafting adventure. Loved the oversized kitchen table. We were all able to eat together, play games, etc. Wish we had stayed another night to explore more of the local scenery. The owner was easy to communicate with through the whole process, and even went the extra mile to return an item to us that was left behind. Overall, a lovely stay.
My friends and i enjoyed one night here. Spent our time on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet or around the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked and even had coffee and filters.
It was beautiful to wake up the first morning to see freshly fallen snow! Easy to get to, lots for the kids to do, wonderful place to share with my family for Thanksgiving! Only thing that I would change is having wood in the wood holder by the stove so that we didn’t have to carry it in.
Would recommend to others.
We had an awesome stay in Charlemont this past weekend! The house was perfect for our two families with young kiddos. We hiked from the house up and down the creek, enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and hopefully added a couple useful supplies to all the goodies there. Will be back for sure! Thank you!!
Great communication. The house was well stocked and clean. The views were very pretty. 4 of the 7 of us are contractors, and reversed engineered the build of the house, and saw all the thought and care that went into the home. Use of the wood stove and fire pit was a huge plus, and the space was large enough to not invade on each others privacy at night time.
Had such a wonderful stay in the beautiful Berkshires at this unique cabin property! Everything was clean and well-maintained. Very rustic and charming. We had a lot of fun by the fire and walking down to the river in the backyard. So many things to do in this area! Hiking, rafting, and dining in the nearby towns! Would definitely return!
Very well thought out rental home. Everything you could possibly need for cooking and all thought out to reduce your time cleaning and more time on the river. No issues and we had a great time. Thanks again,
We had a very pleasant stay at Bear Creek Cabin. It’s just a short ride to Berkshire East for skiing and snow tubing. The house is beautiful and has all the essentials. Bunk room was perfect for the kids, and upstairs open master bedroom had beautiful views. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the creek and warm weather activities. FYI- there are limited restaurant options in the immediate area, so we stopped for groceries on the way up. The kitchen had all we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
This was a very cool newly built log cabin in the woods on a stream. The snow has been melting so the sounds of the stream were amazing - I can imagine it would be wonderful in the spring/summer with the windows open.We came to ski Berkshire East, and it was very convenient. Maybe 10 mins away.Great wood burning stove that warmed the cabin, plenty of wood (read the house manual before starting, nice directions). Brand new kitchen - nice big dining table looking out to the stream.Nice new bathrooms. A few minor things to note just FYI but they did not bother us. No curtains/shades on the windows (you are in the woods so really does not matter) and no dishwasher (hand washing was made very easy). Will definitely try to return in the summer to enjoy! The primary bedroom is in the loft, so no doors if that matters, but very spacious and its own bathroom.
