A great place to stay, a little remote and the the narrow roads maybe a challenge.

A lovely, cosy cottage that has absolutely everything you need - as well as extras for your dog which we really appreciated. It’s in a pretty countryside setting with not much around it. We went on some amazing walks around Chard with the dog which are worth a look at.

The cottage was beautiful, clean and all provided for.
The cottage was beautiful, clean and all provided for. We didn’t realise that we were quiet away from the main coast, and felt the near by walk access was restricted. We would if ideally liked to have been nearer to towns , but the cottage was very cosy and great if you want to escape from it all.

Excellent accommodation and facilities The Forge is a lovely place to stay.
Excellent accommodation and facilities The Forge is a lovely place to stay. The access roads to it are narrow and if you are unfortunate to meet another car coming in the opposite direction it could be a little stressful, other than that we had a great holiday.

A super little cottage - home from home. The only setback was the very narrow roads one has to traverse to access the cottage.
