They are amazing hosts who will go out of their way to make your stay great. The location is perfect for walking to the malecon, shops and all the delicious restaurants. The property is very secure with flowering trees and palms surrounding the pool area for a private oasis feel. The pool is crystal clear and so inviting. The hosts, Bob and Sharon, lived in the main home on the property and were welcoming and provided helpful information. There are two casitas that share the common pool area, and we enjoyed meeting other interesting travelers and sharing stories. We were in Casita 2, which has an outdoor kitchen that we enjoyed for preparing breakfasts or reheating restaurant leftovers. The only inconvenience was that the water and sink were indoors. We were aware of this before booking and were adaptable to it. Casita 1 has an indoor kitchen instead. The room was long and narrow with a comfortable bed and various seating in tthe same room. There were many seating options indoors and outdoors for relaxing. They have a number of friendly pets that are not allowed in the pool area (except for their cat who can climb the wall) and we do not have pet allergies. We enjoyed our stay! ##### Deb H. On top of that, each time the door shut it automatically locked. The TV which was supposed to have cable, didn’t and was mounted in an awkward position that was to high to view from the sofa and to far from the bed to be able to read the subtitles. The owners are friendly and incredibly hospitable. I had everything I needed to make delicious meals with a well-stocked kitchen. As a single woman, I felt very safe and could sit on the patio in the evening without worry. There are many good restaurants nearby and the Wednesday Market is just a short walk.
