We loved our stay, usually heading off to beaches either local or further away and finishing off with a little funk in the immaculate pool. There is a promenade with restaurants and beach chairs for hire within a 5 minute walk and an easy 15-20 minute walk into the gorgeous old city. The apartment was great, although a microwave would have been an excellent addition as stove top warming is more trouble than it’s worth for heating up. However, there was a significant lack of staffing, with no one at the desk for the majority of our stay. This meant we couldn't resolve basic things, such as broken air-conditioning in our room, slow wifi, and access to towels for the pool (which we were informed would be available from the reception for the duration of our stay). We appreciate it was the penultimate week of the season, but unfortunately this lack of customer service did somewhat affect our stay.
