Very Enjoyable Vacation Spot

I was impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the facility. The staff was friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We purchased the breakfast and dinner package and was very happy with the choices, quality and quantity of the food every day. I highly recommend the Porto Platanias Beach Hotel!

Great room overlooking the beach, breakfast was very good, pool area was nice, Sparkling Spa was great. We arrived very late and went to the sister property where we waited half an hour only to learn we were at the wrong place - so be cautious as they have three adjacent properties. Loved the kid-free existence.

Stayed here for 6 nights with two friends. Had a room with two single beds and a sofa bed in a separate living room. Large balcony, nice and spacious bathroom, and good comfort and standard throughout the hotel. Nice facilities: great child-free beach, pool area, good breakfast, gym, and more. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend staying here.

The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms were cleaned every day. Very modern. Our room was a few steps from the pool area. It was great. The restaurant was overlooking the sea and we had amazing breakfast every day. There are restaurants, cafes, supermarket in walking distance. We rented a car because we wanted to visit other parts of Crete. I highly recommend this hotel!

Quite small room. We had a partial sea view room, but could hardly see the sea. The view was to the pool so no point in paying extra for the "sea" view. The room and hotel over all was very clean and tidy.

Be advised, Expedia customers. As of 8/10/25, Expedias site incorrectly omitted the fact that this resort is adults only. Other travel sites and the hotel itself are more clears The Porto hotel conglomerate has a family friendly place where we got stuck last minute but it’s not on the beach. It’s a very busy strip and not very relaxing outside of the properties.

Für den Preis hat man mehr erwartet. Freundlichkeit des Personals unterschiedlich. Gym schlechter als erwartet. Keine Erkundigung nach Zufriedenheit. Liegen am Pool und am Strand nicht ausreichend vorhanden. Frühstück sehr gut!

Nydelig hotell, perfekt for en voksen ferie. Innsjekk gikk smooth, vi fikk noe godt å drikke mens vi ble innsjekket. Rommene var fine, rene og romslige. Fin og rolig atmosfære på bassenget. Strandsonen var også veldig fin. Men merk; det var tidvis innpåslitne selgere som skulle selge massasje. Disse var ikke ansatte på hotellet. De begynner bare å massere deg, og krever penger. Det virket som hotellets ansatte ba de gå unna noen ganger. Alt i alt, hotellet anbefales! Flott lokasjon og meget hyggelig betjening.

Fantastisk hotel! Lækker morgenmad med alt man kunne ønske og restaurant lå helt nede på stranden. Personalet var meget imødekommende og venlige. Dejlig udsigt fra vores værelse (suite). Pool- og hotelområde blev rengjort hver dag. Lækkert strandområde, som også hver dag blev rengjort.
