The Old Chania town is pedestrian only. After 30 minutes of following on line driving instructions which did not identify streets that were closed we dumped the car at first available street parking which was about a 350 meters from hotel. There is a lot down by water which we found out about after the fact but it’s no closer. Saw numerous others dragging luggage through the streets. Hotel is internally noisy. One can hear many of the WC activities from neighbouring rooms through the walls. The rooms were clean and nice . The hotel itself felt more local and helped the overall experience of being in Greece. The hotel location was excellent because it was right on the waterfront with excellent views as well as being very close to many restaurants and bars . The price was one of the best in all of Crete compared to other establishments. The only downside to the place was the Wi-Fi . The signal was great but the bandwidth was not. It’s bad for me because I’m kind of a tech junkie and I do like internet for updates and streaming movies.
