The kitchenette could use a microwave but it is serviceable. The washing machine was excellent to have. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of closet space. The apartment is right downtown in the old part of Chania with several of eateries close by (walking distance) and a party atmosphere. We didn't have any hot water in the room unless we turned on the boiler, and it needed 20 minutes for the water to heat up, but it was enough only for one person. Very Nice staff that was helpful when I arrived and was departing outside normal reception hours. My room description said it had city view, but since it was first floor, it was basically just a tree and old backyard. So nothing to see there. Though nice to be able to sit an outside. Just be aware that It is long and narrow. They advertise about a shared terrace, but when I asked about it, I was told they had not used it in years, and so I was not able to access it. All great restaurants and shopping, and the amazing waterfront area, were within easy walking distance. The A/C worked perfectly (we definitely needed it!), the rooms were spacious and SO quiet, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure great. We absolutely loved having a washer in the unit. Spyros, the apartment manager, was so helpful and answered all communications quickly.
