Right in the center of the old town. Host was reachable via text and responsive but a bit hard to find someone at the reception. Very convenient location in the middle of everything cafes and restaurants. Very walkable

This property is in the heart of old town which is where you want to be. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, water and everything you need. Best location, however the front sofa bed is in the front which is noisy at night (but worth it). I would stay here again

GREAT LOCATION!! Extremely clean, modern, & new hotel room with a/c Right in the center of old town’s restaurant lane so food is easy to find right at your door step Morning coffee @ Monogram coffee shop is 1 minute away Laundry facility 1 minute away Local bus from Airport was $3 Euro a person n it’s nice. They drop you off at the bus station in old town n it was a 8 minute walk to the hotel. Taxi’s arent allowed to drop you off in front of the hotel. You have to walk w your luggage anyways. Getting to the beaches using their bus system is a breeze & nearby bus stop. Only negative is at night its a vibrant restaurant area so music is heard until 3am but its really insulated so u dont hear the outside much at all

Pros: The rooms were nice enough and the beds were quite comfortable. Considering the location, the building was not too loud as long as you use earplugs. Cons: the service and reception was completely nonexistent. We went to the reception daily at different times and not a single time was anyone there We were given a single toilet paper roll for 3 nights stay and we booked a suite with two rooms for multiple people but couldn’t get more and had to buy it ourselves which is just an incredibly poor, unprofessional and unprecedented experience. We also didn’t get the advertised free bottle of wine which honestly wasnt a big deal but why lie? We moved to another place in the same area which has been a huge improvement. You can find better.

Perfect location for exploring the city

The location was excellent and accommodation quite comfortable. Information re check-in quite late arriving and bedside lights needed charging - fortunately we had correct charger. Kitchen well-equipped.

The accommodation is in the heart of the old city and very conveniently located. However the accommodation is quite quiet and tucked away and has space to sit outside.The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

The place was perfect. Coffee maker and kettle were great for morning coffees. The room was spacious with a couch and a small fridge. Well situated...only 10 minutes from the bus station and right in the old town on a pedestrian only street. Clean, quiet and easy communication with the owners. Absolutely a gem and i highly recommend it.

Nice place but loud late at night.

We liked the room (room 2) and the location for accessing Old Town. However, it is really loud late at night. Both nights there was loud activity until 3:30 in the morning.

We found this apartment to be well situated in the old town and very convenient to the sights and well surrounded by good dining options. It is clean and modern and set up to accommodate some easy cooking and eating at home. The washing machine was a big plus for us. We had a balcony/ deck which was great for sitting outside. There was a welcoming bottle of wine, some raki and nibbles provided. The house keeper was lovely and very helpful to us.

Amazing place, location is awesome, staff is exceptional. Would recommend staying there for sure. If you are looking for a peace and quiet it gets a bit loud at night with restaurants right across the door, but if you are tired from walking all day it wont matter :)

Great stay in the centre of Chania

Fantastic room in the heart of Chania old town. Plenty to see and do and only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour. Room was very clean and great touches such as USB ports, pressure shower and Coffee Pod machine. Would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Centro Storico in Crete! From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much pride the staff takes in maintaining the property. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything was spotless throughout our stay. The towels were incredibly soft and plush, and the bed linens were changed frequently, so the room always felt fresh, comfortable, and well cared for. One of our favorite things about this hotel was its atmosphere and location. While it's conveniently located in the heart of the city, it somehow feels tucked away in its own little haven. It has a quiet, secluded charm that makes it easy to relax while still being just steps from everything you want to see and do. The property also felt very secure and thoughtfully maintained. I highly recommend Hotel Centro Storico to anyone visiting Crete. If you appreciate exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and a peaceful boutique atmosphere, this is the perfect place to stay. I would happily return without hesitation! Finally, if you’re a cat lover, don’t forget to say hi to the property cat- Centro (aka boo boo).

The cleaner seemed to look after everything and was lovely. One negative is they told us that our credit card wasn't working. Indeed, none of our cards worked so we had to pay cash. There was no problem with the cards, they just wanted cash. I have no problem with that. Just be upfront about it. We wasted a lot of time on an overseas call getting our card checked out. Otherwise, the hotel is fine.

The information about a check in code was a bit late in coming but as soon as I chased it up the code was sent straight away. On arrival at the property the key box was easy to find and we were able to access the room easily. There was Raki in the room, this was a nice touch despite the fact that it’s not our tipple. The room was the studio apartment overlooking the street, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. There wasn’t a great load of storage space but it was adequate for us as we travel pretty light. Cleaning was done every other day which included a change of sheets and towels. The location is perfect for restaurants and bars and everything is within easy walking distance. It is quite noisy until early hours with music playing on some evenings but we still managed to sleep, to be honest it wasn’t so much the music but inconsiderate guests whom were waking us up. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Chania.

The property itself was fine. The property manager left without giving us any way into the property. I had messaged her that our flight was delayed. She didn’t seem to understand that people traveling don’t have constant access to data. We got there and there was no one there and no one at the office or any note for us. Only by dumb luck did we find someone on the street who knew her and called her or we would have been sleeping on the street. Was a very stressful experience after a long day of traveling with many delays.

Awful experience - do not book Centro Storico

This was a pretty awful experience. I did not end up staying at Centro Storico because there was no wi-fi when I arrived. I was told the signal is generally weak in the historical center, but the cafes around the corner had a strong signal... I waited for an hour and went for dinner, but the problem persisted. I ended up leaving and booking another hotel to be able to attend an important online meeting. I called the manager to ask for a refund and she was incredibly unfriendly and kept saying I was wrong about the weak signal (even though the employee at the site confirmed it). Please do not stay here, the service is awful and there are many nice places closeby!!
