We booked the bay front suite for two nights. There is a stunning view from the balcony of the room; however, you need to be aware that there is a late night party atmosphere that starts around 10:30pm on the other side of the bay and goes to about 3:30 am - even on a Tuesday and Wednesday night! Even with ear plugs in, I could still hear the bass and drums of the music across the way. This can be frustrating when you are already trying to adjust to the time change. However, on day three through seven we had booked the other suite and really liked it. It would not be for anyone who has difficulty handling stairs; however, because it has a spiral staircase to the floor below where the bathroom is.
I also want to compliment the cleaning lady, she wanted to make sure if I wanted our room cleaned after the first night and I still had our do not disturb sign up around 1 pm. When she realized I couldn’t speak Greek, she went up to the front desk and had someone who could speak English call me. I let her come in while I was finishing getting ready. She was concerned that I didn’t know how to operate the tv because it was on, but on mute, so she called the front desk attendant who came down to check with me. I was using the usb in the tv to charge my phone, as I had forgotten my converter, but wanted the sound off. When I realized that was charging too slowly, they allowed me to borrow a usb charger for the duration of our stay.
