The best time to go to Chandelles is during late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

During these months, the weather is typically mild and sunny, ideal for exploring the Loire Valley's châteaux and vineyards without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the gardens at their most beautiful in late spring, and the autumn brings the vibrant colours of the changing leaves and the grape harvest. There are also fewer tourists compared to the peak summer months, meaning a more relaxed experience at popular attractions.

For those interested in outdoor activities like cycling along the Loire à Vélo route or enjoying leisurely walks, these shoulder seasons offer comfortable temperatures.
