Hotel Royal is an easy walk from the train station. It has a gym and small sauna which was lovely at the end of the day. The room was a lovely size and we had a great price for 2 nights.

Great place to stay and well situated in the centre of Lausanne. Very attentive staff and the brasserie is a wonderful restaurant to spend quality time with time for lunch or dinner. We come here from the last 10 years and we always enjoy our stay.

"Nice hotel in quiet location slightly removed from noisier town centre area. Main issue was the absence of air con when outside temp was in the mid 30s C - a plug in tower fan in the room didn’t suffice and not acceptable for a 4* hotel changing £350 p/n. Room was unbearably hot the entire time."
