Great staff and fabulous food

Quick and easy check-in. Great food in the restaurant and very helpful staff who were happy to speak English rather than struggle with our poor French.

Stopover

We enjoy staying here as it's clean and friendly and also close to restaurants, shops and cheap fuel. The room is basic but comfortable, the bathroom is a bit cramped so not much room to manoeuvre but the shower is excellent if not a little difficult to control the temperature.

A perfect stopper en route. Friendly staff, English spoken and comfortable rooms. A good choice of eating places nearby or the hotel offers a good value 3 course meal and seating outside available. They aldo have a bar and reading/board games room. Could do with larger shower towels and spare hand towels

Perfect stopover

It was very presentable, clean and comfortable. Although in a built up area, it was still quite and close to restaurants. You can dine at the hotel Monday to Friday, otherwise we recommend the Italian restaurant Bellacitta. Breakfast had good choice of food hot and cold, cereals, pastries etc

Nice comfortable hotel

Clean and modern comfortable hotel. The staff were lovely - very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was nicely presented and the menu was good and varied. The only thing is that we thought it was a little overpriced and the food was not hot. I had to send it back and it was still not very hot when it came back.

Very easy check in. Lovely reception staff. Room fine with ample pillows and towels. I did have a broken bedside lamp that could have been dangerous and air con didn’t work. Two minor problems but overall a good place to overnight on a long journey. Food whilst not gourmet was tasty and reasonably priced. Bar and dining staff were very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.

A basic hotel which was not very comfortable.

Overnight stay when travelling through. Room was cramped and bathroom was basic. Towels inadequate and rough - no hand towels or face washers. Breakfast was OK.

Good place for an overnighter

Friendly reception, nice room, parking was secure. We weren't 'late' for our Sunday breakfast (9 a.m.) but there were no croissants or bread and the cooked food was almost cold and pretty much inedible. The croissants arrived after a while but were half-cooked. I would stay again because the hotel is comfortable, well located and great VFM.

The main lounge/ bar area was very nice but let down by the small room and older style bathroom. For some reason we were given two twin beds and the receptionist wasn’t very helpful when we asked for a double bed.

It was a bad experience, we arrived at ca. 20:00 with 3 big luggages. We were told that our room at 3rd floors, without lift. But the colleagues in hotel even did not ask to help. Cleanness is not good, ventilator and water cocker are covered by dust. Overall is not satisfied, I think you can find another better hotel in Tours.
