"We loved the location, central to everything. Most of all the front desk staff and managers., They were so attentive & kind. We had some things we need to get for our son, they made it happen. Above and beyond. We’ve stayed at many hotel across our travels. This was one of the best guest care we received. Bravo. Amazing team. Thank you for a Wonderful stay. Room was very clean. The roof top patio area was lovely. Fantastic breakfast. Look forward to return next summer. 10/10 property. We thank you❤️"

"The good: Very comfortable bed and very clean bathtub. Convenient location to walk to the Citadel or the waterfront. Conveniently attached to the Tempo restaurant and Boston Pizza. Not so good: the place badly needs maintenance and a facelift. In our room the curtain valance was detached in one place, wallpaper was torn in several places, and the A/C ceiling vent dripped water."

"An excellent hotel located below The Citadel, with a superior attached restaurant Gio. Food was imaginative, as were the drinks, and the staff excellent. Our king room was well appointed, with plenty of room and two armchairs. We enjoyed the ala carte breakfast, happy hour, and dinner at Gio. The housekeeping staff were top notch too. Location is walkable to the waterfront, and a somewhat longer but pleasant walk to the terrific Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. Parking in the basement of the hotel is fine for a smaller car. We had a Jetta and it was a little tight. Could be a somewhat challenging for a larger SUV, but the hotel also offers valet parking. Definitely a great stay, and one we would repeat on our next visit to this lovely city."

"My family and I came to halifax for my son’s homecoming football game and this is my first time ever renting a home. The host made this so seamless and was so patient with all my questions. This rental was so conveniently located close to many restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, the university and the downtown Harbourfront, which we did walk everywhere because the weather was so beautiful and everything was so close. Also, the pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful the home is. Thank you to the host for renting us this property - we’re already making plans for next year."
