"What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there. The information provided about local places to go was extremely helpful. It was the perfect location for day trips to many towns in the area."

"We travelled from the South of Spain in the summer to go somewhere cooler that had access to Golf, and plenty of space for our two dogs. Most days were 23C or thereabouts, and the property is on the edge of some great dog walking tracks. Pool was warm and clean, and property comfortable and everything worked well during our stay."

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even...

"A good sized appartment within a villa, lots of space. Rented out as a sole occupancy, so pool and facilities were just for us. Fantastic views over beach and village, which is 10-15 minutes walk depending if you are going down the hill or up. "Stayed at the villa for just under 3 weeks. Communication with Robert was excellent and he promptly answered our questions when required. The accommodation is excellent! The best that we have stayed in. The villa is large, spacious and really well equipped. Mornings and evenings spent on the balconies were a particular favourite. Supermarkets are nearby should you wish to stock up and eat in. Foz do Alehro is wonderful. Quiet, undeveloped and still not sufficiently on the tourist map to ever...

"Location is very nice, house is really good but poorly maintained and cleaned. Looks like owner is not using profesional cleaning services as is very visible when we arrived. We cleaned the house by ourselves two times.m, coming and going. There were many things not working properly. Location make anyway sense."

It is about a 1 hour drive north of Lisbon, and we were greeted upon arrival by Carla, who is amazing and we can't say enough good things about.
