"I’ll start by saying you get what you pay for. There were very few amenities basically just a bar and a Denny’s. The only vending machine on the property only accepted cash and just had drinks. There was one ice machine, no hairdryer in the room, and the only seating was a bed and a desk chair. Parking was along outside of hotel. We couldn’t see vehicle from our room not a huge deal but maybe for others. It’s close to Crystal River if you needed anything or wanted to go out and explore. "

"This hotel was beautiful, loved the history of it. The rooms and the property were super clean and well maintained. All of the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious."

"The place is going through major renovations but it did not interfere with our stay. The restaurant and bar were not open, simple self serve breakfast. The pool area was fine . Room was newly renovated. Staff very nice."

"This place was very clean and new looking. It’s a basic studio type room with a bed, convenient table, sink, cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. Maid service is only once a week, but you can exchange towels whenever needed. Personally, I like that because I don’t have to be out of the room at a certain time and I actually save on tipping. They’re a nice amenities like a gym and laundry. No food service and you need to bring your own utensils, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, very nice and we actually extended our stay a day or two because of business. Would stay here again."

"The AC definitely kept the room cold. Breakfast was the same each morning, but did include eggs and sausage as well as waffles and cereal, oatmeal muffins, etc. We did not evaluate the pool. Ice machine worked. Coffee available 24 hours in the lobby. This is more of a classic motel set up with the doors facing outward toward the parking lot and has units on only 2 stories. It is also obviously an older facility, but our room seemed quite well kept. The staff we met were great and accommodating for needs. "

"I did not get the King Size bed room I reserved and was put in a double bed room. I was told Expedia reservations come behind direct reservations even though I made my reservation a month in advance. A loud banging sound woke us up several nights in a row. The A/C spit damp air into the room and it was musty smelling. The tub drained slowly and the tub faucet was ready to fall off. When we tried to use the laundry there was no change available at the hotel and was told to go to the local grocery store for help. All in all a bad experience."
