"this was a great house for us. there was space for everyone. the kitchen is very well stocked and the beds comfortable. it is a cozy house with rustic decor. the location is great. there are not enough wine glasses and the towels are small but those are minor details! we would go back, especially in another season to use the screen porch!"

"This cabin was a cozy mid week get away for my wife and I. It was clean and well maintained. The lake and State park access were very convenient and we really enjoyed our hike through the park nature trail. It was only a short drive to either Castleton or Fair Haven, which had many conveniences. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet time away."

"First, thanks for letting us to stay in your beautiful property. It was a great memorable stay in a true cabin surrounded by beautiful trees. We visited to enjoy the fall colors and we didn’t have to drive as this location and surrounding was so beautiful. We also gone for a walk in the trail in the backside of the cabin. "Once a few hiccups were worked out we had a great stay at the house in Ludlow. The previous visitors had left a large pile of trash outside and had left the hot tub cover unsecured. After we located the cover lock for the hot tub we were able to secure it so it wouldn’t keep blowing open. The silverware drawer was also broken and falling out of the cabinet. "We stayed in the property for 2 nights. It was a short drive from okemo ski resort. The home is clean and lots of entertainment. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. The home is on top of a steep driveway so make sure you have 4WD if you go in the winter. Only complaint is that the didn’t have any firewood in the house for the fireplace. We did ended up getting some on our own and I’m still waiting for them to reimburse me."

"We had a Christmas week trip with another family. 4 adults and 4 Teens. Location is great. Close to mountain. Would say only downside is that while there are beds for 10 people, the house is smaller than it appears in pictures and not sure it would be comfortable for that many, mostly in the common area. Overall, a good experience."

"We chose this VRBO so that we could attend a performance in Randolph with the idea to make it a little Vermont getaway with our dogs. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The property is magnificent. Our dogs were able to walk and run on the property. Breakfast at the table with the incredible view of the valley as awesome. Hannah is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful."
