Tillicum Beach Motel (Deane's Oceanfront Lodge)

Tillicum Beach Motel (Deane's Oceanfront Lodge)

8/10 Good
"Loved that the location is adjacent to the beautiful beach. Loved that they accepted my dog with no questions asked. Extremely convenient location. Room is nice. TV has Sirius channels and there are free DVDs offered. Room does not have charging for phones - I hope they read this is realize phone charging is a necessity. Parking is directly in front of room and there is a back door access to the large property and beach. If they get the correct plugs for phone charging, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It really is nice."

"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was about usual for a hotel. There is an ice machine making loud noises that woke us up several times at night."

Motel 6 Newport, OR

Motel 6 Newport, OR

8/10 Good
"Just the bare basics, pretty much as expected. No toiletries. Wifi was just okay, quite slow at times. Slow enough to keep me from accomplishing some things. Good beds, terrible pillows. Pictures on the web were a little misleading, unsurprisingly, making it appear nicer than it is. It's just a basic Motel 6. Great price. Great location, if not particularly scenic, but you can see the ocean and the bay. Very clean."

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room service was prompt and the view was incredible. Other than being a bit outdated, limited outlets and no air conditioning ( it was an issue due to being on the first floor with no way to lock a screened door for safety) it was a nice stay."

"Clean and spacious room. The exterior appeared to be under some construction with old furnishings on one corner of the property. Convenient to the beach."
