The house was fresh and spotless clean and not overwhelmed with artificial plug-in deodorizers (like many are). "The area is beautiful. Couldn’t get the heater to work properly. So it was a bit chilly. My husband did want to watch a little t.v. but the sound kept messing up. The screen door was broken and my husband was very concerned about the tape around all the outlets. He didn’t feel it was safe so we didn’t stay a second night. However, if you can get passed all that, it has a nice deck, the lake is just a few feet away and it’s just very pretty and peaceful."

"A very relaxing laid back atmosphere! We loved the whole property. The vintage touches to the house were fun. We enjoyed being so near the river and also liked seeing the occasional train go by. We had a nice evening spent around the fire pit after my son's Mizzou graduation. This was a great place for our family to celebrate our son's graduation."
