"It is fine for a clean place to rest your head and clean up for the night. The staff was friendly and check in was smooth. It was close by to lots of dining options and things to do if thats what you are looking for. The parking lot could definitely use some work. I was just looking for a place to sleep, relax for the night, and clean up before hitting the road again. If you are traveling, and this is not your pleasure destination, this should hit the marks."

"We love staying here and do whenever we are in the area. They have a little bar where you can have a beer or a glass of wine and a pizza off the lobby. We know whatever time we arrive we won't have to go out and find somewhere open! And the usual terrific full breakfast spread and Seattle's best coffee available around the clock in the lobby. AND they have a computer and printer available off the lobby. A feature many places are removing but it's important to me. Love it!"

AC worked great even during 90 degree days. Would not want my wife to stay here by herself but that is because of the area, not the motel itself."

"The Evergreen is a nice little family owned Motel the owners are super friendly and sure take good care of their guests. I was on my way home from a long distance kayak race and decided to stop for the night. I made a reservation at the Evergreen and less than 10 minutes later had a call from them on checking in and my possible arrival time. I had a kayak on my vehicle and needed to park away from my room. They allowed me to park in an area where my vehicle and kayak were safe. There was another...

"Stay was generally okay. Rear access door was supposed to be card access only but it never locked. Large outside garbage cans were full to overflowing. Office staff were helpful but didn't seem to care about maintenance issues."

"I’ve stayed at a number of vintage roadside motels and the majority are rundown and showing their age. Not the Royal Rest however! It was wonderfully maintained, cozy, and stylish and I’d definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the area."
