"This property is a refurbished boat house. I realize that all of the pictures are accurate but the place is WAY BETTER than I expected. First of all, the space is HUGE, at more than 800 sq ft. It has a king size bed, a futon, a couch, a dining room table, a huge desk, a bar, a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, and a bathroom with tub. "My boyfriend and I booked this trip and he actually proposed during our trip! We loved coming back to the cozy studio cottage. The view from bed is beautiful , the stars at night were breath taking! Easy to check in, place was clean the one minor thing was the couch bed is not the best for the back but is cozy and soft. We will be back !"

"Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping."

"Liked the room. Liked the location. Parking was in a lot next to the building. I would suggest reading instructions and looking on Google maps at the satellite image of building and the bingo place. Made it very simple to see before we made the drive."

"My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful view from the porch. We spent most of our time at the cottage on the porch, watching the boats come and go. There were ospreys nesting nearby and it was awesome to watch them. The cottage was just enough space for the two of us. We could have used some additional storage — there’s a closet but there were only a handful of hangers, and it would have been useful to be able to hang up more of our stuff. Lots of storage...

"The view was amazing! Clean and nicely decorated. In saying that, There were no pots and pans, knife to food prep with and no can opener in the kitchen. I purchased a set of pots and pans and a can opener. All of my food in the fridge spoiled. I had to throw it all away the fridge was not cold enough and needed to be repaired. They need to update there mattress it sunk in the middle and was very uncomfortable."

"This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. "

"Great views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures."
