The Ferry Retreat in Cedar Island!

"The host is very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with the door lock and he was able to reset the lock instantly over the phone during check in. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are very clean with more than enough supplies, although the kitchen plates are all plastic and worn. The retreat is very cozy and is only 7 minutes from the ferry, very convenient. We had a good sleep."

"This is a great little property. The host was super responsive when we had to reach out. Its less than 10min to the waterfront, peaceful and quiet for sure. The space is tight for sure so be ready. The chickens were a great welcome, as well as the birds in the Marshall. If the weather was better for our trip the kayaks would have been great, maybe next time.The space is tight for sure so be prepared but its perfect for those that want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Definitely recommend for those that like the outdoors and rustic lifestyle"

"The room was very clean. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate any needs and make our stay a pleasant experience. A beautiful table was set for breakfast and it did not disappoint. It was delicious! I highly recommend staying in this property."

"This property was wonderful!! We hope to make it a yearly trip. Peaceful and quiet and only 45 min to Beaufort! We saw dolphins, pelicans, blue herons, crabs and caught a few fish! Couldn’t have been better. The Laudermilks were great hosts and have thought of everything to make the vacation home perfect!"
