Charming property within walking distance of nice bakery to buy breakfast. A good base for driving to lovely mountain scenery and coastal resorts. Excellent communication with owner. WiFi very good.
An old stone house, lovingly restored and with all modern amenities, very well equipped to live a simple village life 'en bonne ambiance.' Within driving distance of many pretty villages; lots of hiking possibilities in the area. Walking between the vineyards and attending the tastings at the wineries, you can't help but become an advanced student in the Faculty of Wine!
La Remise is located in a small town surrounded by vineyards and rugged hills. It's so quiet at night you can hear your own heartbeat. The terrace on the upper floor is completely private and has comfortable furniture for lounging. Pauline, the owner, is a top-notch hostess, taking care of every detail with friendly efficiency. It has old world charm with modern conveniences. Perfect!
A stunning little cottage in an excellent location
We had a wonderful stay at this little cottage in the South of France, it is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The terrace is lovely to sit outside and relax with a glass of the local wine. We explored the area around the village, St Chinian is particularly lovely with markets twice weekly and, of course, the renowned Carcassonne. Not far to the beach and the countryside is breathtaking. Highly recommended!!
Pretty well equiped cottage. Good communication with the owner who was very kind when we had a problem. Newer towells and bedding would be good

Small but perfectly formed
Husband and I stayed for a few days last month - La Remise is small, but absolutely perfect for the two of us. The property was clean and very well maintained. The description and photos are accurate.
Pauline is an excellent host and is very approachable.
There is so much to do in the area as well - our particular favourites from this trip were a walk through the Gorges d'Heric, and a day trip to see the sites in Nîmes. Obviously the wine is not to be missed too!
Kleines Domizil mit allem was man braucht.
Vielen Dank!!
Well equipped and comfortable little gite in quiet street in the small town of Cebazan. Lovely sunny terrace. Very comfortable bed. Great for a couple wanting to explore this fascinating area of France. Easy reach of beautiful old villages, plenty of wine tasting, the lovely Canal du Midi and the coast. Some great walking from the house.
We had a wonderfully stay at this property. It was home from home, everything you needed. It was exceptional hot when we stayed and fan's were provided but a mosquito net to cover the door would have made the nights a little more comfortable (been able to leave open). Local patisserie had a great selection of lovely bread and cakes! Would return!
We loved this rental - the best gite we've stayed in! It's a beautiful little house; tastefully decorated, very clean and is equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lovely balcony is the most spacious we have experienced and there is a built in stone barbeque for guests' use. We bought our bread in the nearby boulangerie and enjoyed the local wine from the 'cave' at the end of the road. The town itself has little else to offer but St Chinian, the next town (a short car-journey away) has restaurants, markets and a couple of supermarkets, and there are plenty of interesting other towns to visit in the region. However, best of all, is the countryside all around which is fabulous and we enjoyed wonderful walks every day. Our host, Pauline is also five stars - wonderful - very friendly, efficient and attentive, keeping in touch by email to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed.
