"The hotel has only been open for 3 weeks, which is probably 6 weeks too soon!! The room was not finished - locks missing on bathroom door (just a hole waiting for the lock); no curtains or blind in the lounge area - the hot sun blazed in throughout the day and neighbouring rooms could see in, and finally, no air conditioning - the control panels are there, but not connected to anything. "This hotel was in a great location for walking to all of the central sights in York. It also had lovely and helpful staff. A great family room, clean and also provided with tea/coffee and water. We liked the fact that the room had a fridge. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The children's play area was a nice touch and the bar area was very stylish. Overall a really great stay and we will definitely return to this hotel again."
