It is a fun alternative to conventional hotel/motel stays. Beautiful waking up on Catskill Creek with as much room as a small hotel room, including 2 double beds plus a dining table that can convert to a bed.

We had a wonderful time on the boat. Melissa and AJ were wonderful hosts, very responsive. The boat tour was a highlight of a great, very relaxing weekend.
Never thought of staying on a boat before: nice little experience. Watching the creek water was calming (after the rain stopped), the cabin was cozy and the bed comfortable.
We had an absolutely fabulous time on the Red Coral! It was the perfect serenity that we were looking for. The hosts were lovley and the accommodations were very comfortable. We would definitely come back
My family had a fun and unique time on the Red Coral. We fed ducks from the cockpit, swam in Catskill Creek, caught sunfish and catfish from the swim platform and had a great sunset cruise. And below deck we had all the creature comforts of home. In particular, thank you Captain AJ, for the hospitality.
Great location for walking to town. The kids loved everything about our stay. Feeding the ducks, finding things in all the secret storage areas, showering in the tiny bathroom and more. It was convenient having homemade ice cream and a good restaurant nearby too. All in all a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all. Hosts are lovely and accommodating and marina is quiet and laid back.
We have not stopped telling our friends about this trip. Melissa and AJ were super responsive & the location was amazing. We loved kayaking, and exploring the local town. Ate really well at some local spots (Feast & Floret, Willa, Hemlock) and had a fun night at Avalon Lounge. Will definitely return, already looking fwd to our next weekend on the boat!
A first at sleeping two nights aboard a 34’ “yacht!” Wasn’t sure what to expect, but AJ assured us we would be fine! Melissa and AJ very friendly, responsive, and eager to make sure our stay was a success. Which, thanks to them, it was! A fun novel experience, perfect weather, cocktails and dinner on the cockpit, and rich art, history, and scenery of the Hudson River Valley made our two-night stay very rewarding.
The Red Coral is very clean and comfortable. It was the right size for the two of us. The hosts were friendly, well organized, and greeted us upon arrival. The boat had everything we wanted and more (air conditioning!!!)
We enjoyed kayaking in the Creek and then doing the nature preserve nearby.
I would definitely stay there again. The town of Catskill Creek is architecturally and historically interesting, but many places were closed mid-week in August.
I knew when I booked this boat stay that it would be unique and different, and I wasn’t disappointed!
I really enjoyed sleeping on the water, waking up to quiet ( no cars!) and the sun rising and chasing away the morning mist. At night, after dinner in town, I sat out on the stern deck and looked at the stars and watched the night fishermen heading out. So peaceful.
The bed was comfortable, too!
Taking the 2- hr chartered ride on the same boat ( with Captain AJ at the wheel) was wonderful too, especially at sunset.
I highly recommend this as a place to stay for water-loving people like me!
Owners were very helpful when the heat would not work and fixed it immediately. We loved watching the sailboats come in to get their masts put up by the marina crew.
What a great experience. Staying on the yacht was really fun. So beautiful on the water. Melissa was a wonderful host. Communicated well. Will definitely return.
what a fabulous getaway idea! to be right on the water - fishing, kayaking, eating, drinking... there is a nice restaurant/bar with a patio overlooking the water that was very nice and convenient as well as the showers and the pool. We trailered our motorcycles with us and were able to enjoy ourselves immensely
The yacht was clean and well maintained but had a slightly dated appearance. The stairs to enter were daunting but we managed them without difficulty, all of us being in our 60’s, and reasonably fit. Melissa was a charming host and answered any questions we had. The yacht contained anything we could want, great shower, restaurant on the premises, walking distance to town. It was an excellent halfway point to meet up with my sister from PA and us from Cape Cod, MA! Thanks, Melissa, for the nice stay.
Restful stay on the water in a well-equiped boat: check.Beds were comfortable, all amenities included (even games and beach towels), within easy walking distance to restaurants and fabulous ice-cream parlor.Hosts are super-helpful and explained everything upon arrival.Did we like it? You bet! We reserved the boat for 2 nights and then extended it by another 3 nights.Wifi is great: working on the deck with a cup of coffee and creek views!Thank you for sharing your passion for boating! We're hooked.
