"Although the staff fixed everything after being called, it was unusual for a hotel of this caliber to have these problems. First there wasn’t any coffee in the room to brew in the morning. Then the next morning the maid had apparently thrown away the lid of the coffee maker in the trash. They brought me a whole new coffee maker in a box that I had to cut open, unwrap and set up. Also the Netflix went out and it took two guys to fix it while we were gone. What the real problem with the hotel was how mediocre the food was at dinner and the free breakfast was so basic it was embarrassing. So much so when we told them how dried out the eggs were they said it was a different chef who wasn’t very good that day."

"Every things are very good except for the hotel did NOT provide us the sleepers to use when I was in the shower, The room is clean, The staffs are very friendly and polite, Breakfast is excellent, Lake view is perfect . I just very disappointed that the hotel didn’t provide the sleepers for me to use when I took the shower. My husband had to help me to get in and out the bath room. No bathtub"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff that checked us in was very friendly, making our welcome warm. She offered us complimentary smores kits and walked us to our room to ensure everything was in order for our stay. She also showed us some of their other locations and we are now considering a hiking trip to the Catskills! The amenities set this place apart by far! They have a fire lit and the sauna warm at all times which was a very cute touch considering it rained most of our trip, but we still made sure to enjoy the fire and smores! The room we had included a fridge which this booking site didnt notate, so we were very pleased to find that out when we got to the room. There are complimentary items in reception like towels for the sauna and board games as well as a paid bar. The location features a lot of community spaces in their buildings, like ours had a library (first photo attached) and we found an empty building with a big table unlocked, probably for groups to gather together! Also, the smallest detail, our room had scented toilet paper too - I was sick after our hike and this made blowing my nose 200 times as enjoyable as it could be LOL! They have a text message system that was very efficient in communicating for room service etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Our room was clean and comfortable and check in was super easy. We liked that it was close to everything in Saranac Lake. During a very busy season, we appreciated that we were not required the two night minimum that many hotels charge. The room was slightly outdated but the price was affordable and the amenities are good. We will definitely return!"

"It was close to the lake and The Wild Center. Clean, modern room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Didn't get any hair conditioner 😞. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but it looked very inviting."
