Unfortunately, our stay at Peninsula Esmeralda Puerto Plata was disappointing. We had to change rooms because the air conditioning in the first room wasn’t working properly. In the second room, the toilet was not functioning properly, and the shower faucet leaked continuously, day and night. These maintenance issues made our stay uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience. We hope the hotel addresses these problems to provide guests with a better stay in the future.

Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as I expected. The resort definitely needs better maintenance. The toilet was not flushing properly, and the water was not completely clean.
Another major disappointment was the restaurant situation. There were supposed to be three restaurants available, but only one was open during our stay. The food also lacked variety, and the drinks were not very good.
Overall, I expected much better from this resort. There are several areas that need improvement, especially maintenance, food variety, restaurant availability, and the quality of the drinks.
