The apartment, with entrance on the ground floor, opens onto the living room, which features a dining table, a double sofa bed, a TV and an open kitchen complete with all cooking accessories, including a microwave, an oven and a kettle. A staircase leads to the sleeping area, which consists of two bedrooms both equipped with a queen-size bed, two nightstands, two desks, a TV, a large closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower each. Guests will have a small balcony overlooking the building's internal courtyard. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. Catania can boast a beautiful historical center, listed among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you. Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit. And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), Sant’Agata’s olivette (typical sweets made of almond paste and colored in green) and the famous brioches with granita. For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is really not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off! An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best known novel, “I Malavoglia”. Nobody was at the property to check in or give the keys. Luckily a neighbor who has the spare key happened to be there to open the apt and the key was inside the house. This was just the beginning of a very frustrating experience. The walls and ceiling have mold, pillow cases with stain and no hot water to shower. I called the number provided , texted and they just sent a handbook with instructions via whatApp and when I still couldn't get hot water to work and asked to call me back , nobody responded. So unfortunately I would not recommend anyone to stay, because this company will not help you or call back if you need assistance. ##### Tania S. Le duplex est spacieux, la température est fraîche avec des Clim bienvenues et la cuisine est fonctionnelle. L’hôte était joignable tout au long du séjour lorsque nous avions une interrogation.
