Friendly, hard working, and helpful staff, access to everything in the village—restaurants, shows, games, etc., beautiful, warm pool, beach lounge chairs and pool lounge chairs for free, quick and plentiful train rides across the campus, nice scenery and views. Luxury and paradise rolled into one!
Oh, and the food was like any other all-inclusive— meh. Be sure to make reservations for dinner 10 days in advance on the app. They get booked up fast!
Also be sure to use cash with anyone who is not a reputable business. The people who walk the beach and sell items and experiences, for example. Money was stolen from us when we used Apple Pay for a massage bc we couldn’t calculate the exchange rate before she was able to pull off a scam and intentionally overcharge us by $60.
None of that dampened the experience at Bahía Príncipe Ámbar. It was the best of all the Bahías in the area!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was overall pretty good. Rooms were fine—a bit outdated but comfortable for the three of us. Beds are definitely too firm. Pools and entertainment were good. Great spot for 4-5 days of sunshine and relaxation.
