Breakfast was great.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Be aware that there is a large dog. She is very calm but will come and sit next to you if you eat anything!

A perfect property, good facilities on site, an excellent breakfast and pet-friendly too! Welcoming staff, extremely comfy bed, a quiet nights sleep and beautiful grounds. We will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic, room was huge and had everything you need, fresh filtered water filled daily, huge shower and bathroom, super clean hotel, spa was fabulous, treatments amazing (maybe a little expensive though) gym easy access, bar and restaurant areas all staff super attentive… location is pretty far out from town centre, free bikes to use at the hotel which will get you about, not electric and 5k ish either way to town and regular beaches or 5k ish to a more surf type beach that’s...

Property is perfect and parking is a bonus. Large room with balcony and spotlessly clean.
However much confusion when we arrived as we had not received the pre check in instructions with entry codes etc. it was pure luck that someone was on site to help us. However this was more to do with Expedia than the property?
Would book direct with them next time

An excellent place to stay in Cascais. The room had a nice balcony with table and chairs, bath and shower, a sofa and a double bed. Plenty of towels available and access to a shared kitchen which was great for storing things for breakfast and lunch. Dinners out around the area are such a good price that it barely makes sense to eat in. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. She happily organised a physio session for me when needed and made excellent recommendations for places to visit and...

A long weekend in Cascais with my better half was wonderful. The hotel is new, very modern, and the room we had was excellent. Love the wet room bathroom, large, 2 sinks, and a great bath. Our balcony with the twin sofa and table was very nice, with the sun in the afternoon, and had a really good view of the landscaping. Whilst I played 18 holes on the fabulous golf course (I was put with some really friendly chaps, we had a great game), my partner enjoyed a hot stone massage for 90 minutes, and...

We were only staying for 3 nights but needed somewhere to relax, enjoy the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach etc. This ticked all the boxes! I would suggest a car is needed to visit the local town. Thank you for an excellent stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a week for a family wedding which took place at a nearby venue, with the welcome event for guests taking place at Eurostars hotel.
All the staff at this hotel are amazing!
From the reception manager Victor right the way through to reception staff, catering staff and cleaning staff.
They are all very friendly and helpful and everything we needed or requested was dealt with extreme efficiency.
There were a lot of children in our party and even though the hotel doesn’t...

Great experience. Friendly welcome. Perfect room for the price. Away from Cascais but still not far so you can dip your toe in. Need a car to really appreciate it all.

We had an excellent stay at the Vivamarinha. It's not the kind of hotel we would usually stay at, we tend to prefer smaller more intimate hotels, but the hotel was very good at accommodating families with small children to our surprise. The spa facility is excellent and we used it every day (children not allowed). The pool is lovely, although a bit cold in October, but it is October! There were a couple of down points: coffee in the room is charged for, the cost of laundry is very very high, you...

Quite a nice campsite about a five minute drive from Cascais centre with lovely staff, decent facilities and (if you stay in one of their caravans) simple a clean accommodation. Tasty food in the little bar/restaurant where a pint of the local beer - Super Bock - costs 1.80euro. There's also a little shop within the building which has the basics, most anything a camper should require (some really nice breads!). Staff were all lovely and very accommodating. A bus can take you from the camp gates...

No matter what type of hotel you are looking for, whether that’s a luxurious five star hotel or a budget bed and breakfasts near, Expedia will help you find your perfect accommodation close to the Cascais Coast.
Book a hotel in Cascais, you’ll find yourself in a cosmopolitan city, known for its picturesque city centre, beautiful mansions and a marina. Cascais is considered to be one of the richest municipalities in Portugal.
Things to Do On the Cascais Coast
Explore Boca do Inferno, a cave carved out by ocean waves. The name literally translates to the ‘mouth to hell’, as it produces a spectacular sound effect when the waves crash into the rocks.
Admire the 19th century Lighthouse, which houses the Santa Marta Museum and was recently renovated. It is one of the most iconic Portuguese lighthouses. The history and beauty of lighthouses in Portugal is conveyed through a movie shown at the Museum, depicting the oversized Fresnel lenses, and the lighthouse keepers’ diaries against the beautiful backdrop of sweeping sea views.
Head to the Fort of Our Lady, built to protect the coast of Lisbon and dedicated to Our Lady of Light.
Relax on Guincho Beach, a large sandy beach favoured by surfers and windsurfers who come here seeking the perfect waves. It’s so good for surf that World Surfing Championship was once held here.
Visit nearby Estoril and you’ll find yourself near sunny beaches, grand hotels, restaurants and a casino. Estoril also has some of Portugal’s finest golf courses, such as Estoril Golf Club and hosts international events like MotoGP at Estoril Circuit, the Estoril Open and Music Jazz Festivals.
Food and Drink
In nearby Luis de Camões Square you will find plenty of dining options, ranging from traditional Portuguese seafood and Italian restaurants to Indian and Asian cuisine. There’s also a great selection of trendy bars and pubs. Don’t forget to try the delicious butter cakes from Cascais called ‘areias’.
Shopping
If you’re after a few simple souvenirs for the folks back home, be sure to check out the street stalls on Frederico Arouca Street. For something a bit more glam, head to Casa da Guia: a beautiful 18th century mansion, which combines fashionable stores and cafés surrounded by stunning sea views.
Browse the local shops near Tamariz Beach or go to Cascais Shopping, where you’ll find great fashion brands, decorative items, technology and entertainment. There’s also a cinema where movies are shown with English subtitles.
There is a train service from downtown Lisbon to Cais do Sodré, which will take you to Cascais in about 50 minutes, but you can also choose to rent a car to explore the Cascais area at your own pace.
