Not your typical Four Seasons hotel. Although it is very nice, it was not up to the typical standards. Upon arrival in my room, the coffee maker did not work, which was frustrating after a long flight. I was also not able to get a room upgrade, even though I am a VIP Expedia member, and the hotel is not full. The view was not great, either. I paid for a deluxe partial Oceanview, and it was on a lower floor, so the view was limited. Also, some of the plugs did not work at the bedside, which was an issue charging devices. The spa was also closed, which it has been apparently for many months. Cleaning staff repeatedly left the patio door unlocked, and being on the lower floor, was actually a safety issue. Overall a nice hot el, but not one expected for a five star rated hotel, and not your “typical” FS.
