We also had a wonderful time getting to know Fabio as he served us food and drink, and Maria Fernanda took exceptional care of us the entire time. The staff here is phenomenal. There is day trippers that arrive around 10am and leave around 3pm. We enjoyed walking in the village outside of the resort. No cars just dirt roads with limited restaurants and maybe 2 small grocery stores. We ate outside of the resort most of the time at Carmen’s place and the food was so good. I think it’s worth noting that while Google Maps shows that there are other restaurants in walking distance, they both appeared to be closed. The staff were professional, courteous, helpful, and responsive to most any reasonable request. There was a nice selection of meals and the food was prepared well. Now that there are different menus for those choosing the inclusive meal plan or the breakfast only plan. A variety of activities are available such as kayaking or paddle boarding. There is a small protected beach and a saltwater swimming pool. You can also swim in the open cove. Boats can be hired to visit the other nearby islands or go snorkeling. The island is walkable during the day. The are several other resorts within easy walking or kayak distance that you're free to visit to expand some activities or meet other people. While the property and surroundings are beautiful and we had a peaceful stay, the room we stayed in could have used some updating. We also found the staff to be somewhat unfriendly. The food options for the all-inclusive meals were also somewhat limited.
