If you want an economical alternative, this might be for you. Unless it's rush hour, it's a cheap $3 15-minute Uber ride to the Walled City. The rooms are clean and the staff really try to please. Our view was an air shaft and another room's window. The breakfast is limited but freshly made and includes fruit, sugary juice blends, egg dishes and coffee. Dining options in the immediate area are limited but include a couple of seafood restaurants and lots of take-out empanadas and deep-fried root vegetables. The neighborhood "El Bosque" is functional and not charming. Lots of "talleres" for car repairs. Construction in the hotel started at 8 a.m. but that only occurred a couple of times.

A nice reasonably priced hotel for a short stay in Cartagena. 7 minutes by taxi from the old town.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and very kind and welcoming! The restaurant breakfast was delicious. The location was very disappointing. Not a safe area, even the taxi driver made a comment about it when he dropped us off.

THE STAFF IS WHAT MADE THIS HOTEL GOOD
The staff at this hotel was great but I had a few issues with the breakfast and there was a problem with the electricity going out. Not a large selection like in other hotels for breakfast. The staff was very helpful and fun. They are the reason for the high rating.

The pool is in actuality a very small size Jacuzzi. The hotel is in a very poor section of the city and not safe to walk the streets at night. If a guest comes to your room and spends more than 20 minutes you are assessed for a full day amount at check-out time, that is an unconscionable rule of theirs if you ask me.

The bed is spectacular the staff is wonderful and there’s nobody really in the way the elevators free to come up and down Just the only thing is you need a car or if you don’t mind paying for taxis to get to the old city

Staff was super helpful. Would recommend having some basic Spanish understanding here and you will be muy bueno. Staff is great, dinner and dinner price are really good considering the quality. Fun place to be if you want be out of downtown but not to deep it. Took a non-speaking Spanish friend and she had a great time be able to joke and enjoy all amenities with needing constantly translation. Good deal!

The bed was one of the best I have ever been in on vacation (202) it was that many people when I went the breakfast was a little weak I guess the things that keeps it so cheap is every time you leave your room the Ac goes off because you have to take your room key with you

Awesome hotel but it is in a dangerous barrio It has good food Good staff But unless you can it to and from Cartagena it is a risk

The main drawback is it’s out of the way from the Centro, Getsemani and Bocagrande neighbourhoods that you likely want to visit. But it’s a relatively easy cab ride just make sure to tell the cab driver it’s in the Bosque neighbourhood when you go back. It was pretty quiet and nice and clean. The only real complaint is that the shower only had lukewarm water.

This hotel is great, especially for the price! If you are not familiar with Cartagena to know where the hotel is located and you want to be close to everything tourist related, this hotel is not for you. If you have a car and do not mind being a car ride away, it is perfect! The location for me was great but I did have a car so it was easy for me for me to go everywhere. The parking is excellent and very safe. I had breakfast (it was included) and different plates for lunch everyday; everything was delicious! I did not have one complain. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop jacuzzi area is perfect. It is small but cozy and it is perfect to watch the sunset with a drink in your hand. I went to their gym and enjoyed it as well. Everything is exactly as it is seen in the pictures. I would definitely go back!

Horrible location and far from everything. The picture of the pool make it look larger but it’s really the size of a hot tub and it was always full of children. Had charges on my card when checking out that I did not make.

A really nice hotel. It was what we expected. Small room but good size bed. We needed to spent 1 night to get some rest because we had a road trip the following day. And served its purpose. They have a really nice terrace with pool and bar. The hotel has a lot of potential. We were there mid week and off season.

The hotel itself is quite comfortable and nice, certainly relative to the area. If you want to stay in this section of Cartagena, I'd strongly suggest Buenos Aires. The staff were all polite and helpful. I ordered room service once and the food was quite good (and cheap!). The area is not particularly exciting, being far from most touristy things. This felt more like a locals area, with this hotel being the nice one in the neighborhood.

I think this hotel is way overpriced for what it is and when I arrived despite booking on Hotels.com it took me forty minutes for the hotel staff to find my reservation. The worse part is that she skipped me and handled several other customer's before finally locating the reservation because it was too inconvenient for her at the time. The rooms themselves are very nice but the hotel lacks style and charm. It feels like a decent place for a business commuter and not for someone on vacation.

Whilst a nice hotel, the location leaves much to be desired - a 10 minute taxi ride in to the city each way. Only one staff member (the manager) speaks fluent English, the rest of the staff not so much which makes it difficult to communicate and easy for mistakes to be made. Eg. Tour bookings which we thought included xyz did not, and the tour was in Spanish, too! Manager is very accommodating. Would recommend staying here if you speak Spanish and don't mind the proximity to the city centre.

Lo único que rescato es el personal. Limpieza regular, el desayuno básico y acotado. No había secador de pelo nunca disponible, la terraza en mal estado de mantenimiento y algún día no tuvimos agua para ducharnos a tiempo. No fue una buena experiencia

Personnel très accueillant et serviable, chambre confortable. Nous nous sommes presque sentis chez nous ! Le rooftop et le restaurant mériteraient d’être plus mis en valeur au vu de leur plus-value ! Excellent rapport qualité prix. L’emplacement un peu loin du centre ville (15000 COP en taxi) mais proche du port, endroit où nous devions nous rendre tous les jours pour des démarches.

I was just staying for 2 nights at the end of my trip. The hotel isn’t central but it’s only a sort taxi ride to all the main attractions. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who were wonderful and so helpful. The restaurant serves good affordable faire and I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone just looking to spend a day or so in. Cartagena

El hotel es muy lindo solo q no es apropiado cuando viajas de vacaciones xq queda muy lejos de los sitios de interes turistico de la ciudad de Cartagena.

Petite merveille dans la jungle de la Ville
Nous voulions découvrir Cartagene -en dehors du circuit touristique-Cet Hotel pour gens d'affaires nous a servi de base duraant 5jours. Mario-le gérant est d'une amabilité toute spéciale. Claudia a la salle a diner,offre un service sans faute avec sourire et attention. La réception est advenante et a l'écoute . Les femmes de ménages attentives et tres propres. Nous avons profité de ce séjour aussi pour nous reposer a la terasse- Tres de base -avec un petit Gym et un Jacuzzi, il y manque cependant des Transats pour le repos .
