There is not much to do if you don’t fish or boat but it completely met our needs of getting out of the city for a couple days. The pictures don’t really do it justice. We had a very nice stay with our 2 pups. Many of the necessities were thought of. A rug by the back door worked well for the dog’s bowls, or would be good for shoes. The bathroom is spacious with a nice big shower with a large seat. Function was kept in mind, balanced well with welcoming decor. We enjoyed the hot tub and everything was clean. Love the location, it’s more secluded and no worries about neighbors. But still only 15 mins from the grocery stores and fast food, and 10 mins from the nearest Dollar General. If you’re going to Atwood Lake for fishing or the beach, it’s about 25-30 mins. Much closer to Leesville Lake, but we didn’t go there. I would highly suggest venturing into town to Que Pasa Mexican if that’s your thing. Just a few small hiccups during our stay, but when messaging the property owners, they were very responsive, helpful and kind! A few things to note: The drive can be tricky to turn around, in and out with a large vehicle like a 1/2 ton pickup truck with a full-size cab but is doable, be cautious of the steps and culvert ditch. AT&T has great service in the area. Verizon does not. When coming from 332N, Elk Rd is a switchback off of Autumn Rd, again be careful. The photo of the steps is the entrance to the place and they are not as dreadful as they look. If you’re a coffee drinker, bring your ground coffee and additions. But mostly, give this place a try and enjoy your stay! ##### Moriah C. For older people would disabilities. It had a stairs that were like, 25 stairs. Up to the door to get in. And no other way to get into the building.
