"Perfect quiet getaway with a minor check-in hiccup
We were looking for a quieter spot for an overnight birthday celebration—somewhere close to everything we needed but away from the chaotic noise of Surfers Paradise and other busy Gold Coast destinations. This place was perfect.
Check-in was easy, though a bit off-putting. The lady serving us wasn't friendly, didn’t smile once, and as soon as she handed over the room key and parking gate code, she literally hustled away without even wishing us a nice stay. It left us no opportunity to ask about services, which made me a bit concerned for the night ahead.
However, the room itself was lovely! We booked a family studio, and it was spacious and spotless. The beds were absolutely divine and comfortable, the bath was perfect for a long soak, and my daughter loved the hot shower. They also provided enough complimentary welcome water for all of us, which was greatly appreciated. We couldn't find the pool or any signage/room info for it, so we can't comment on that, though it looks nice in the online photos.
The hotel next door is easily accessible, and the staff there were absolutely lovely. Their breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh, tasty choices for both kids and adults, with no wait times and ample seating.
The property itself was beautifully quiet—we couldn't hear any noise from other guests, and we even found a classic movie (Back to the Future) to watch.
