The beach is only just a few steps across the street to the access point, so you can go back and forth easily. Take a shade break on our front porch and enjoy a quiet cocktail while rocking and taking in the salty sea air and ocean view. Or if you've had enough salt water, take a dip in our community marsh-side pool. Located right at the north end of the island and Freeman Park, you can stroll over the Lo Tide Tiki Bar for a nearby social hour, or walk or bike 1.5 miles down to the Sea Witch or many other bars, restaurants, and shops at The Boardwalk. The north end of the island has been reenergized with last year's Beach renourishment and lots of summer action at the new Carolina Beach Pier. I loved the location and front porch of this property! You can see 3 different views of the ocean. The property was very clean. The downstairs local neighbors were the best! I had to contact the rental agency (regarding an issue with a previous renter) and they were fantastic to work with. They called within an hour and solved the problem as quickly as possible. The beds were comfortable. It was a blessing to find such a clean property that allowed our rescue pup. I hope to be able to stay again in the future. Other minor issues we found throughout our stay included a dead TV remote and an off-brand coffee maker that won’t produce more than half a cup at a time. We were pretty grossed out by the blankets and rug smells - they desperately need a deep clean or replacement. It was a nice set up, comfortable bed. It was very quiet on this end and right next to the beach access. We practically had the pool to ourselves most days. My college son who plays football and his fiancé and I needed a quick get away. This place was perfect. Quick walk to the beach. Has 2 balconies. I slept on the Murphy bed. It was actually pretty comfy. My fiancé brought her dog and it was all perfect. Neighbors who live in the building were very kind. Only downfall was it was a lot more flights of steps then I had thought. Wasn’t a deal breaker but in the heat and I am waiting to have a knee replacement. I would definitely love to stay here again.
