At the Carmona Archaeological Site, you can admire two of the oldest monuments in the area: the Necropolis and the Roman Amphitheatre, built between the 1st and 2nd centuries. But the tourist attraction par excellence of Carmona is the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla, a palace whose patios you can visit before climbing to the top of the famous Torre del Oro to take in the unbeatable panoramic views. The other great Arab fort is the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, now a Parador, which is accessed through the Puerta de Córdoba and which offers a viewpoint with magnificent views of the Vega de Carmona fields that surround the city. It is a real pleasure to lose yourself in the historic old town of Carmona, made up of charming cobbled streets surrounded by white houses.
