Brand new hotel. Spacious and well thought out suite. Beautiful location right in front of the Mississippi river and at walking distance from the Carleton Place centre. Excellent location to visit the surroundings (Perth, Merrickville, Almonte etc) My secret is now revealed!
Gorgeous property and will only get better as the riverside outdoor space, café and gym are finished. The staff was wonderful - helpful, friendly amd full of suggestions about what to see and where to eat in town. We will definitely be back!
Outstanding stay from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, check-in was smooth, and every detail felt thoughtfully handled. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, with fresh linens and excellent amenities. The location was convenient, and the hotel itself was magical. We would happily stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free, and magical hotel experience.
I loved this property not only for its beautiful centuries old architecture but the improvements that they have made. The rooms are really spacious and well laid out. The kitchen amenities are great.
The people that work there are wonderful and made check-in and -out really easy. Thank you especially to Teagan and Patti who really did a great job of making us feel comfortable.
The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We will
definitely be staying there again. The only thing I would say is that they have no TV on the rooms. So make sure to bring an I pad if you need something to watch before bedtime
This was a super cool place! Staff were amazing, and it was so fun getting to explore the town and the hotel. Everything is a well preserved piece of history, and it seems like the owners put a lot of time and effort into restoring the mill rather than flipping it. If I'm ever out that way again I will definitely be booking here!
One of the best hotel. Top notch facility, location, customer service and cleanliness. River besides makes the location exceptionally beautiful and fresh. Highly recommended

Our new favorite hotel in the area! Will be rebooking for sure...beautiful property and great room amenities!
what a lovely set up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a very comfortable modern environment with everything we needed.
Check in check out we’re very easy.
If we are ever through Carleton place again, this is where we will stay
Highly recommend recommended
This place was a real gem of a find. Located in a beautiful heritage building with so much attention to detail. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and the sound of the river beside my room was incredible.
Highly recommend
Thank you for a wonderful stay during a very stressful time. Your hospitality will be remembered for many years.
I ended up having to stay here last minute. Was pleasantly surprised to see how great this place was. I was shown to my suite by one of the owners, made sure everything was in order.
A unique property with expansions plans in place.
I felt safe and like family staying here.
I went for many walks, watched the water and explored the area.
Perfect for getaways !
The house was newly renovated, very modern, and extremely clean. There were also plenty of kitchen utensils available. The staff were very friendly and brought us extra chairs to sit on. The surrounding area of the town was beautiful as well, and it was very relaxing to walk around the park nearby. Overall, everything was wonderful!
The suite was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the river was lovely and there were nice shops, restaurants and walking trails nearby.
The Tris Century Mill Suites is such a beautiful place to stay. It’s currently not quite complete, and it felt so lovely to stay there as they are working on the property.
Our room was stunning. We stayed in 204 and there was a window to the river, and a door between the bedrooms.
It was perfect for myself and my 15 year old.
The kitchen was stocked with utensils, plates and pots and pans to cook with.
The bathrooms had an abundance of towels and strong water pressure in the shower.
The beds were comfortable.
And the whole place smelled of fresh cedar.
Plus the folks who run the place made us feel right at home.
It’s in walking distance of the town’s Main Street, and a gorgeous riverwalk.
I would go back in a heartbeat.
