"I recently stayed at Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa for 4 nights. The beach and tropical grounds are beautiful, and the property itself is very large with access to multiple pools, restaurants, and amenities. Unfortunately, the overall guest experience felt underwhelming and not very relaxing. The resort has an extremely sales-driven atmosphere. Everywhere you go, someone is trying to sell you something — from souvenir vendors to constant promotion of vacation club memberships. Even going to the gym turned into a sales experience, where I was immediately approached about spa services. It became difficult to simply relax without being marketed to. The food quality was inconsistent, and the rooms felt somewhat old and dated compared to the online photos and branding. Another challenge was the language and overall guest experience as an English-speaking traveler. The resort seemed much more geared toward Spanish-speaking guests. Most staff members were courteous and professional, but English communication was limited in many areas, and at times it felt like Spanish-speaking guests received more natural attention and engagement. What stood out most to me was the lack of memorable entertainment or thoughtful resort atmosphere. The activities and events felt mediocre and low-effort compared to other resorts I’ve visited in Punta Cana. I previously stayed at Royalton and found the hospitality, food, entertainment, and overall atmosphere significantly more polished, mode"

"Would NOT recommend. My husband and i stayed at the Morgan for our honeymoon for 5 days. I have to be honest, we were so disappointed. Our very first interaction with front desk staff member was poor. I’m assuming she had a frustrating day but she certainly took it out on us. Didn’t greet us, told us nothing about the property, she just slid us the room key barely said anything and that was it. And the very little she said was snarky and just rude. Second interaction, a bartender was incredibly condescending and rude. He act like we were a bother to him. This took away our initial excitement about the property. We travel often, stay at many hotels, this was by far the worst costumer service we experienced from staff . Out of all of them, we had ONE super kind, waitress one morning at the pool. The rooms are outdated, and not maintained well. The bedding is cheap, thin , rough and mattress is uncomfortable. So you’ll freeze if you don’t have a comforter of your own. They charge for every little thing, with terrible service, that can be aggravating. For example, room service, there’s a service charge + the items + a charge per person. Overall 4/10. Beautiful view / pool area. That was the best part. But overall, they value money over customer experience, it’s so obvious. We were so disappointed and wish we booked an air bnb or another property."

"It was a beautiful property, however the room was not as well maintained as the rest of the hotel and did not match up to the price. Also found the cost of food and drinks unreasonably high for what you were getting. I have stayed at other places in the area that were nicer and much more affordable which is why I personally wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to a friend"

"My wife and I have been to a lot of all inclusive but this was a first for the Excellence Collection. The resort is beautiful and the employees are great. We typically go to bed early on vacations from being out in the sun all day but we managed to enjoy the night entertainment which we found really fun. The only thing that we found just sub par was the food in some of the places. The Spice restaurant wasn’t great and the buffet wasn’t either, but we always find something we enjoy, here it was basically the omlette that we liked. For Spice they have the hibachi that you have to make a reservation for. We weren’t able to get a reservation until 9:45pm on Friday which is way too late for us, this isn’t really a complaint on that but more just unfortunate. The oregano restaurant was really good and so was the steak house. One other thing that this place doesn’t have that pretty much all other resorts that we’ve been to is a place that is serving snacks/lunch around the pool where you could just walk up and order food. Here you have to order from the waiter which is fine, but it takes about 1/2hr-45 minutes. Other than that we liked this place and didn’t want to leave. I do want to give a shot out to the whole staff who were great, but these people in particular made our stay fantastic. Diaz the bartender at the Prelude Bar.
