Well, this place is an absolute gem. We were there for only one night but left the next morning feeling like we had known the owners (Anya and Charles) for a long time. Charles said he and his wife bought the property 6 years ago due primarily to his/their passion for all things related to World War II. Boy does it show ...... authentic WWII regalia is everywhere. Our room (HQ1) was charming to say the least. I assume the other 6 rooms are as well. The breakfast is terrific and served in a portion of what is now their primary living area. The ONLY downside I can think of is that local dining options (even for sandwiches or salads) is limited. The one place a few minutes away was closed the night we visited. In any case, if you are ever in the Saint Mere Eglise area (10km away) or near Utah Beach, I highly encourage you to check out Domaine Airborne.

Visit to D Day Beaches
Great location,Charles and Anya are fantastic hosts, Charles gave us some great information and places to visit,even gave us our own map,Breakfast was great,if you are looking to visit the D Day landing beaches,this is the place to stay,also check out Charles's memorabilia dispalyed in the Mess,15 minutes from Utah beach

Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful stay here for our last day, the hosts were really accommodating and polite, the room (we stayed in Barrack I) was brilliant and spotless, and the breakfast superb! It is decorated in a really classy and considered way rather than being cheesy or over the top. We will definitely go back!

What a find!!
What a find! If you are visiting that area of Normandy and are interested in the events of the 6th June 1944, this is the place to stay. All the rooms have a period feel and nicely decorated accordingly, but all the modern features you could want. The 'Mess' is full of the owners original WW2 vast collection and even has the body tub of a Willy's Jeep used as a coat rack! Charles the owner was very welcoming and full of information and suggestions for places to visit and eat in during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and hospitality second to none. Highly recommended.

A special stay.
It was a treat to stay at this property. We came to the area to visit the Normandy D Day beach sites and to learn more about this historical event. The stay at the Airborne greatly enhanced our stay because the owner of the hotel has created a brilliant and special spot, filled with ww2 memorobilia with clear attention to detail. My children were thrilled to spend time inspecting the many pieces of authentic pieces from the period and the owner was very forthcoming with helpful tips and information.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr nette Gastgeber, bei denen man sich willkommen fühlt. Gutes Frühstück und insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft. Außerdem bekommt man noch gute Tipps für Ausflüge, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce très bel endroit, le décor est superbe, on voit bien que le propriétaire des lieux est un véritable passionné du D Day, compte tenu de la déco dans la salle de repas, parking sur place, chambre très confortable et très propre, petit déjeuner extra, il ne manque rien!!!👍👍. On recommande fortement.

Hotel incrivel para quem gosta de historia, prédio histórico bem preservado, decoração da segunda gerra mundial com itens originais. O quarto é confortavel, banheiro reformado e muito bom, a decoração é incrivel. O atendimento foi excelente, hotel com poucos hóspedes e atendimento personalizado, o dono do Hotel realiza também passeios guiados pela região. Cafe da manha muito bom. Melhor hotel que nos hospedamos na Normandia, é uma experiência de hospedagem de interior da França agregado a muita historia. .

Reise ins 1944 im charmanten Landgasthaus.
Ruhige direkt an der Landezone D gelegene Unterkunft in einem alten Bauernhof, das im Stil der Epoche des 2. Weltkriegs vom sehr freundlichen Besitzer geführt wird. Grosses Knowhow zur 101. airborne division im 2. WK.

Très agréable. Accueil très sympa. Chambre très spacieuse décorée dans le thème, très propre. Nous qui venions de Paris, au calme avec les petits zoizos. Petit déjeuner plus que correct, jus de fruits, oeufs, yaourt, viennoiseries, charcuterie et plus je pense si nous avions demandé. NE PAS HESITER JE RECOMMANDE, rapport qualité prix EXTRA. Nous étions à HQ 2. Ne pas chercher ailleurs !!!! Nous reviendrons. A très bientôy

Ancienne ferme reconvertie en gîte rural par l'actuel propriétaire, un Hollandais féru d'histoire militaire. Les allusions à l'opération Overlord sont partout présentes. Le propriétaire est attentionné et disponible. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Grande propreté des installations.

Incroyable incontournable inratable
Si vous voulez vous plonger dans l'ambiance de la 2e guerre mondiale alors foncez au Domaine Airborne. Décoré avec le goût du détail, plein d'objets authentiques, une touche d'humour. L'atmosphère est chaleureuse, vibrante et prend vie devant vous. Le confort du 21e siècle est bien là ce qui permet de se reposer après une longue journée sur les traces de WW2. Plein de petites attentions en chambre the café bouilloire frigo bouteille d'eau et le délicieux parfum dans la chambre qui "sent bon". Petit déjeuner délicieux servi par le patron lui même qui vous accueille avec gentillesse et courtoisie. Engagez la conversation ! Il a de fantastiques histoires a partager et a le sens du récit ! Il propose même des ballades en jeep sur mesure ! On le fera la prochaine fois c'est certain. Prenez le temps de regarder les objets du Mess. Et demandez lui pourquoi il a un parachute jaune sur la cheminée.. Nous étions en couple mais y retournerons en famille car pour des enfants l'histoire devient "pour de vrai". Nous sommes motards et y avons été très bien accueilli : amis motards allez y votre bécane y sera bien aussi. On a la certitude d'avoir trouvé un lieu hors du commun qui ne nous donne qu'une envie : revenir ! Marie
