"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great - short walk to the beach and shops. The house is clean and spacious with lots of room for a large group. The kitchen had most of the things one might need for cooking. There were plenty of beach towels and the beach chairs were a nice surprise. The pool and hot tub were really nice to have; just wish the hot tub stayed hot. We had to turn it on in the morning to get it warmed up for the day - not ideal if you want to use in the mornings. The water pressure could use some improvements and the hot water was very inconsistent. Attention to a few details would go a long way - providing a cooler to use at the beach, providing additional garbage bags to put in trash cans, fix the leaky sink. Communication was prompt. Overall this was a nice property given its proximity to the beach and shops."

The house is large with plenty of space for everyone and the pool was great, private, and kept at the perfect temperature. The house was clean with only minor wear and tear. Loved the location and walked to the beach everyday. Close to everything you would want to do in the Captiva village! We only had a few minor issues that were handled promptly and professionally. We worked with Albert and he was so accommodating and he promptly answered any questions we had. I had also communicated with Albert prior to our trip and he always answered my questions. I’ve rented many properties in Florida and American Realty Group was superior to all other property management companies I’ve encountered."

"Grounds are under construction and renovation so it was busy with workers. Needed to navigate around construction vehicles and roped off work areas. That’s a temporary inconvenience. Booked a king bed room and given 2 queens so had to move. Used Google Maps for restaurants on the grounds to find out we needed to use the paper map handed to us. Beaches were fabulous! Lounge chairs and towels available at the beach for us all. Beach was clean. Restaurants off grounds were awesome and better priced. Sunset was awesome!!!"

"The home was well-kept and clean, and overall it matched the listing description. We enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of bath and beach towels provided, and the beach cart was fantastic for carrying items to and from the beach.A few areas could be improved. The beds in the guest rooms were not very comfortable compared to the master bedroom. It would have been helpful to have a bicycle pump available for inflating pool floats and toys. We also noticed there were no dishcloths or sponges for washing dishes.The audio/video speaker system was difficult to operate and not very user-friendly. The cooking utensils were adequate, but seemed a bit worn and could use updating or refreshing.Overall, we had a good experience and appreciated the cleanliness and convenience of the home."

"Pool and Hot tub were used a lot! Huge hit with our family. 4/5 bedrooms were great. Master bedroom closet/bedroom has zero airflow so gets a bit stagnant. Even with that minor issue we would still stay here again. Beach access was very convenient. So easy to walk back to the house and back to the beach for any needs. Living room and kitchen were spacious enough. Starbucks, ice cream, shops, eating...all right there."

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed in the overall quality of this home. The stairs leading up to the front door need to be replaced. The master bath needs to be demoed. Being a little older, it was dangerously difficult to step into the bathtub. My husband could not fit under the shower head without needing to bend over. There were bug poison traps sitting on top of the kitchen counters. (Not comfortable with putting our food on the counters near those)The “3rd” bedroom cannot be considered a bedroom with no closet and you couldn’t even move around the so called bed. The pool was not cleaned when we got there. Pool guy came on Tuesday and put some chemicals in the pool and said we could not use the pool for 24 hours. Very frustrating to pay for something you can not use. Especially for the grandkids. The washer and dryer area was not at all maintained. You couldn’t even open the washer lid all the way. The carpet in the master bedroom was old and dirty and needed to be replaced."

"Great stay! We loved our visit and stay! This house is so close to the beach and steps away to the pool. The house had everything we needed for the beach and was close walk to central Captiva restaurants. Highly recommend!"
