"We had a really nice time. We are a family of 5 with tweens. We stayed at the mansion. Pros: - the beach and the beach staff were lovely. the beach is just so cool. very clean. kids had fun with other kids, going out on the flats, playing with the hermit crabs, and wading in the water. as a parent i appreciated not fearing they were going to drown or get pulled by the waves (it was very calm). - the front lawn. kids enjoyed this during the evenings. it was a nice wat to unwind and let the kids run and play games. - the golf. my kids and husband enjoyed playing 18 and 9 holes. We also went over one evening and just used the range for an hour or so. very friendly staff and a very nice course. The cons - It did not have a high end feel to it. we were checked in and that was it. not a big deal, but it was touted as high end. I wouldn't have had that expectation otherwise. - the room air conditioning - the room itself was spacious and felt clean. the air conditioning was like a monster. it was one that came on and then turned off until the room got hot and then kicked back on. it literally woke us up every night multiple times because it was so loud - like an autobody shop or monster screeching. - inflated prices. I expect this because we're at a nice resort and a lot goes into that. but the prices were very elevated. $26 pizza on the lawn and a glass of wine and water was $30. if you're used to city/resort pricing this won't surprise you. Overall - It was a solid 'B' stay"

"Our stay at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beauty, elegance, and exceptional hospitality. Our Premier Waterview Cottage was absolutely breathtaking. The accommodations were beautiful, luxurious, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Waking up to the stunning waterfront views made our stay even more special. The dining was equally impressive. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and a true reflection of the quality and care that went into every aspect of our experience. What truly set Wequassett apart, however, was the incredible staff. Each person we encountered went above and beyond to make our 30th anniversary celebration feel truly special. Their genuine warmth, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. Celebrating 30 years of marriage at such a beautiful and extraordinary resort was a memory we will treasure forever. Wequassett gave us far more than a wonderful vacation—it gave us an unforgettable celebration filled with beautiful moments, exceptional service, and memories we will cherish for years to come. "This was the quintessential Cape Cod retreat I was hoping to find. My host was warm and welcoming, and every thoughtful detail made me feel at home—from the generous assortment of snacks and reading materials to the wonderfully comfortable bed and luxurious oversized bathroom with the softest towels. Waking up to peaceful views of the garden and estuary was the perfect way to start each day.As a solo traveler, I especially appreciate places where I feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. This was all of that and more. I left feeling rested, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning."

"This was the perfect house for my family gathering. At first I was anxious because of the price, but we all had a WONDERFUL stay. My grandkids ranged in age from 10-20, and they ALL loved the rec room and theater. The back deck was great for gathering, the kitchen was big enough to all work in, and the location was so quiet and beautiful, but close enough to necessary shopping. Del Mar was very responsive to our questions and requests."
