Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great.
Excellent check in service after hours. Good plans and key retrieval. No towels in room on arrival. Took a bit of pressure on restaurant staff to rectify this, but then service exceptional. Food very good at the restaurant! Superb location. Would have stayed a second night but the beds were not good!
I loved the quietess of the property, the room was clean, bed so comfortable, loved the shutters that blocked out the light.
Access into the pool was poor for older visitors
Lovely area to stay. Lovely staff - especially at the restaurant.
Shame the bathroom was not very clean with mould in the shower. A little run down and not clear in the description of the property that they do have tea and coffee making facility in the room.
Would recommend the breakfasts starting earlier or 7am instead of 8am, but overall a very lovely place to stay.

Absolute magic! Nothing at all that didn’t disappoint us. Only stayed 1 night. Wish it had been longer. Put it on your bucket list people, you won’t disappointed. The peace and Quiet was amazing! All the staff and food was GREAT.
Staying here in the rainforest was amazing. It is so beautiful. The beach is beautiful at low tide, and you feel like you are the only people in the world. The management was not good at communication, however, and left many requests for late check in unanswered. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and wish I had more time to explore this trip.
Room was small , instead of extra bed , a table and 2 chairs inside would have been better as it was raining, other than that ,bed was comfy & surroundings were awesome
This place is serene and allows you to get away from all the distractions of the city. No TV No internet... perfect for environment to revive the art of conversation especially with loved ones. Rooms were clean and the facilities were very good. Staff were always friendly and courteous. Unfortunately to have air con and lighting they have to run a diesel generator in this area of the world. At least it was very quiet.
I like the privacy of having 2 rooms sharing a balcony.
The hotel is very well kept. The short walk to the beach is great to see sun rise.
The onsite restaurant have variety of options and good food.
Very simple but beautiful accomodation set in a stunning location. The restaurant was fabulous and reasonably priced. Some of the staff were new but very nice and accomodating.
Be careful on the beach, we saw a 3-4m croc sunbaking on the rocks near the property. That was enough excitment for that day!
To service staff and chiefs, the rooms are spacious with AC and fan. An area where WiFi is available would be good as I was trying to arrange a mechanic further south, But I suppose that is part of the charm no WiFi, no TV. That being said as you had to read better bed lights would have helped.
This was a terrible experience we stayed at the most expensive cabin they had and it was dreadful very small cabin with ancient small bathroom with dirty grouting almost no where to hang the towels the mattress is in bad it need of replacing by 11.00 pm we had to get out of bed as both of our backs became sore.
The room had no chairs to sit on they had them on the patio to keep company with the numerous spiders
let’s not mention the kettle the interior was absolutely filthy even if we wanted to make coffee they only had three satchels but we could not take a risk with it.
Now for the goos staff
NO Television
NO Internet of any sort
NO connection to Mobile phone when one kilometre down the road you got it all
So what do you do after dark well nothing as the tide in all the way up thus making walking on the sand impossible
It’s a lovely location and it can be pleasant but they need to knock it all down and start all over again to pay just under $340 p.n and get this, unacceptable
Cute, modern cabins nesteldin the rain froest and right next to beach. Has restaurant.
Is about 2 km past 'town', but paved road right to entrance.
There no cell phone or wifi here.

This is a wonderful, very unique place to stay right in the middle of the Daintree Forest with so many birds in the trees etc it is a fantastic experience and one we will never forget.
I love how it's nestled amongst and has low impact on the surrounding rainforest. Our villa was located very close to the pool area, restaurant and beach!
We were able to check in 1hour earlier and the girls at reception are helpful . Talked about local rates and being up from cairns.
Rooms were clean and tidy.
Staff and food at the dining was fab too
Loved that it was right in the jungle, quiet, peaceful, natural. The basic accommodation was perfect for the setting and the staff were very accommodating to some hiccups we had.
Perfect getaway - a rainforest retreat that is right on the beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great on site restaurant. Not really walkable to Cape Tribulation township but only a short drive. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay and a great base to explore the Daintree
This is the most wonderful property. The eco cabins are basic but very clean and comfortable and at one with nature.
The setting is just stunning amongst gorgeous rain forest with private beach access where you can watch fish and stingrays frolic.
Cassowaries, goannas and many other creatures are around.
And the pool is beautiful.
The dining area is great with excellent food and drink options. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you want to have a real jungle experience in comfort.
What a beautiful part of Australia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the middle of the rainforest. The scenery is wonderful (even saw a cassowary and babies). Every meal we had was delicious (great chef). I would highly recommend staying at this property.
We arrived to such a warm welcome from Janine on the front desk. The property is located in such an idyllic spot too. Cannot recommend a stay here highly enough.
Amazing spot and extremely clean considering it's located in the middle of rainforest.
The restaurant food was really delicious and the price really fair!
