Very comfortable, large room with quite luxurious interior. All amenities, wi-fi & parking included. Quiet. Beautifully kept gardens. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff.
Unfortunate glitch: on check out, my friends were charged for 2 rooms despite the fact that it was fully paid for with booking 10 weeks earlier. Trust the payment will be reversed quickly and that their system will be improved so as not to charge rooms twice.
Very nice Room and nice Pool area. Friendly Stuff, nice adds like free coffee...
The Location is OK, but we were searching for a wineyard accomodation. This is not connectet to wineyards and the next possiblities for wine tasting are further away and esp. on sundays closed or early closing.
We enjoyed 2 nights here last week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We were transferred to a downstairs room so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The only improvement I can suggest would be a bigger pool.
Englisch breakfast, Früchte, Cornflakes, alles was man braucht.
Great lodge, staff delightful, breakfast extraordinary. Just not walking distance to any restaurants in town. Ground beautifully landscaped. Most restaurants at the other end of town. So if you have a car to drive, good place to stay. Otherwise head direct to Franschoek and spend your night there.
