Everything needed for a home away from home was provided. The TV system seemed to require a different remote control, however, we managed to get broadcast TV and Netflix. About 150 meters to shops and restaurants and 250 meters to the sea. Good, economical location.

O anfitrião é atencioso e nos recepcionou bem. O bairro é bem localizado , próximo à pontos de interesse, porém a rua em si é cheia de mendigos e gente dormindo nas calçadas , o que causou insegurança principalmente à noite ! O quarto tinha uma boa cama e um bom chuveiro . O que tornou a estadia realmente estressante foi a quantidade de baratas . Todos os dias precisava matava 4 ou 5 baratas, o que realmente ninguém espera em uma viagem de férias ! Falta de limpeza e detetizacao. Não recomendo esse studio .

Cape Town stopover.

Simple holiday flat good for one or two people. Big comfortable bed with good linen. Close to bus or taxi stops. Many restaurants nearby.

A delightful spacious studio apartment

A convenient place to stay

We stayed at GPSCS in mid September for about a week and had a pleasant stay. The studio is in a secure 3-storey apartment block, receiving a new paint job. The lower ground floor comprises undercover parking bays, with apartments on the upper ground and 1st floors. The apartment block is conveniently located (short walk) to restaurants, supermarket and the beach, and within a short driving distance to V&A, the city centre and other attractions. We were met at the apartment by the owner and given instructions on vacating the studio, and were otherwise undisturbed for our entire stay. The studio was clean and met all of our requirements, but could do with some minor maintenance (cupboard and bathroom cabinet doors didn't close properly, kitchen tap was loose). The bed was very comfortable, and there was a washing machine but no dryer. Top marks for the great sound-system - a wider selection of CDs would be nice (we enjoyed some of the classical CDs available and also had some CDs of our own). The layout of the room could be changed to improve comfort, ie could not sit on the sofa and watch TV. Heating comprised a column oil heater.

Nice studio close to the promenade

We had a pleasant stay at the self catering studio. For check-in you need to be able to contact the owner and have him meet you at the studio to get in since there is no front desk. It would have made our stay even better to have had wifi and air conditioning. Besides that we had a pleasant stay and were close to the water, restaurants and shopping.

Bem localizado, próximo ao calçadão; flat limpo. Cozinha ok para preparar as refeições. Faltou ter wifi ilimitado (é um modem da Vodacom pré carregado e que não dura muito) e mais canais na televisão, para encerrar o dia tranquilo.
