"Great breakfast and coffee, rooms were clean and the staff were friendly; conveniently located to a variety of restaurants (5 min drive); very close to downtown Portsmouth, NH and the shopping outlets in Kittery; a drive away from Ogunquit and neighboring towns; 45 min drive to Portland; didn’t try the outdoor pool, but it opened the weekend we got there (May 18). "We ended up having a wonderful stay. It started out bumpy, girls at front desk very unfriendly and never told us of free coffee, breakfast arrangement until we were leaving and asked. Power washing of chairs was right in front of us and EXTREMELY annoying for 2 days. We complained and the manager Margaret Carcaterra was very helpful and understanding. She upgraded us which eliminated the problem so the rest of our stay was wonderful. Thank you Margaret"
