There is an upper sun deck terrace with sun chaise lounge chairs and also a pool deck area for dining Al Fresco by the pool with plenty of seating and a BBQ Grill. What will strike you immediately as you walk in, is the number of windows to the pool area and views from almost every room (kitchen, living room, breakfast nook, dining room, master bedroom). The South facing pool deck streams sunshine into the house continuously accentuating your holiday feel, and calls you to come out to the pool. The house configuration has an ideal split floor plan where the master is on one side and the guest bedrooms on the other. Our 1850 sq ft holiday home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms decorated in Bermuda Tropical colors for a soothing holiday atmosphere. There is a breakfast nook that surrounds you with sunlight and inviting pool/canal views. The other amazing feature of this property, not by our design, is the bird calls that happen at certain times of the day and makes you feel like you are living in paradise. We are in the most SW corner and within 3 miles straight distance to the Gulf of Mexico, so tropical breezes come across the Mangroves frequently. We furnished and equipped our Villa to bring a feeling of luxury that would appeal to seasoned travelers who value high end hotel quality bed sheets with 2 king beds and 2 twins with pillow-top mattresses, one more firm than the other for a selection. What makes this home a hit with our guests is the privacy that our landscaping created and the many outside enjoyment areas, like the Lanai but also the outside upper terrace area for those sun worshipers or the dock with a Tiki Hut. We are also in close proximity to both Marinas in SW Cape Coral like Cape Harbor and Tarpon Point Marina. We are also 5 minutes away from Publix, Pizza, Lobster Lady, Liquor store, and many other amenities. We sit directly on the canal so you can enjoy watching the Dolphins, Manatees and Stingrays swimming along. We are a new vacation rental property but not new at vacation rentals. As proud vacation home owners, because we always dreamed of having one, we want to make our guests feel the same magic we felt when we spend time there in South West Florida. We lived in Bermuda for some time and wanted to bring that same feeling to our guests. Our Villa is very close to many beaches, golf courses, shopping and some of the best dining around in SW Florida. If boating is your passion, then you are in the right place as we are only about 20 mins out to open waters. The location is ideal for access to Fort Myers Beach or 30 minutes to Estero for shopping at outlet malls like Coconut Point Mall or Miromar Outlets or Tanger Outlet on your way to Sanibel Island on Summerlin Road. There are plenty of public Golf Courses around Cape Coral and Fort Myers to choose from like Eastwood (3.7 / 5.0) , Riverbend Golf Course (4.0 / 5.0), or Golf at Magnolia Landing (4.2 / 5.0), Eagle Ridge (3.6 / 5.0). Downtown Naples is about 45 mins away and good for a day trip. Walk along 5th Avenue for some high end shops. We just ended our two week stay and absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful and in a great location. It’s not directly on a main road so there’s very little traffic but very convenient to lots of restaurants, groceries, drugstore, etc. The house was spotless when we checked in. The weather was beautiful and we stayed out by the pool pretty much all day and evening except for when we went out for a meal. The view of the pool and the canal is very relaxing. The owners have done everything possible to make your stay wonderful and easy. All of the light/fan switches are labeled. The inside of kitchen cabinets and drawers are labeled so when you unload the dishwasher, you know exactly where to put things. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The really great thing about the outdoor space is no matter if you like to be in the sun or the shade at any time of day you can find both. My husband stayed in the sun most of the time and I stayed in the shade. The heated pool was wonderful. The owners, Mike and Catherine, and the property manager Sonja were all so friendly and helpful. We did not have any issues, but they gave us some good tips about restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay here again. It was bright and cheerful with multiple windows facing the lanai and canal from three areas of the home. Views were super! Upon arrival we walked into a spotless home. The kitchen, newly renovated, was spacious and well organized. The master bedroom was large as was the bathroom area with a walk in shower, also newly renovated. Very nicely done! We so enjoyed sitting on the deck chairs watching fish jump, boats going by and listening to birds singing. Owner Michael and house manager Sabine were great to work with. We cannot say enough about this property, the owners and the property manager who helped us while we were there. It made for one of the most memorable and enjoyable family vacations we've ever had. Michael was extremely responsive to all of our questions, concerns, etc. ahead of the trip. This made my husband and I very confident and comfortable traveling for the first time in a year. The pictures and video online are an EXACT match for what this property is like in person! Everything we needed was right there: fully-equipped kitchen, linens, cleaning supplies, pool and beach toys, guides to the area, high speed internet and streaming services. ...and much more that I'm likely forgetting. We even utilized the grill for the best surf 'n turf dinner. Full disclosure - I am a neat \*freak\*. I always go into a vacation expecting to clean to some extent immediately upon arrival. It was not necessary here! I did clean up after ourselves a bit every day, but that's to be expected. I had everything I needed including a floor steamer, swiffer, cleaning spray, detergent, etc. Other than food, we purchased very little. Some additional detergent and paper towels - but my husband would tell you that's more a reflection of me than the house :) The neighborhood was peaceful, and the neighbors we encountered were very friendly. We rented a boat (@ cape coral boat rentals) for the week and had no trouble tying it to the dock (it was too wide for the lift). We would pack a cooler and venture out to different islands every day. Our daughter could not get enough of the pool. She was in it first thing in the morning, and after each daytime outing. We were either in there with her, or enjoying sitting along side the pool's edge. The area was lovely, with all the essential stores nearby. We highly recommend strolling around the Cape Coral Waterfront area, which has a couple of restaurants fit for couples or families. This is also where the boat rental operator was. I must commend Sabine as well. She was so friendly and helpful both before and during our trip. We knew ahead of time that we wouldn't be arriving at the house until nearly 9pm. I worked with Sabine to arrange for an Instacart order to be delivered prior to our arrival. She was there to receive it, and had everything put away by the time we arrived. That was a huge help. She was lovely! We had the best experience and cannot wait to work with these owners again! ##### Emily G. This property provided a great middle spot for our adventures. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. He answered all questions and was very helpful. We were asked to shorten our stay by a day, after booking due to COVID restrictions and policies for cleaning. This was completely understandable, and in the end worked out just fine, but was not terribly convenient. The house is in a great location and very close to Ft Myers Beach, but we found ourselves traveling to Sanibel Captiva more often. Simply beautiful and only about 35 minutes away from the house. Everything was as described, but I would mention some of the extras in the description going forward- the pool floats, bikes, and fishing gear, beach supplies - as these were things that enhanced our trip and saved us money. As far as the house goes, it more than met our needs. My kids loved the pool and the view out of the lanai was breathtaking. Just a few things that could’ve made the stay just a bit better: Not that you spend anytime in there, but the garage had a dank, musty smell that hit you when you entered. Since we got in super late, we reached out in the AM to the property manager. She was prompt and arrived wearing a mask, which we appreciated,and she explained was policy. Surprisingly when she checked us out she was not wearing it. She showed us how to use the pool heater- which was on when we arrived but we did not adjust. I brought a few issues of cleanliness up to the property manager. She seemed surprised by this after we showed her. These did not ruin our stay. The house was very clean otherwise. The other minor inconvenience was the electric fee. She took a picture of the meter when we arrived. We were hardly at the house except in the evenings so we weren’t expecting to use much- but I guess we still went over the allowance. She also asked that this be paid in cash- which seemed odd. She took our check anyway. Basically the electric extra is mentioned in the rental agreement, but you don’t have any idea what to expect as far as cost goes, and I would’ve preferred this expense be build in to the rental cost, not a surprise amount at the end. Just read the agreement and be comfortable w/ this as an additional expense. It was a beautiful, comfortable home-loved the neighborhood! ##### Guthrie W. We enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully appointed home. The owners were extremely gracious in allowing us to check in early due to "shelter in place" and flight snafu. Sabi e was instantly accessible and helpful. It was wonderful to stay in a place that literally has everything you could possibly need for a beach/ pool stay. The Tiki Bar, Sanibel, Lovers Key sunsets, shelling and catching snook off the back gulf access dock.
