"An excellent choice in Hyannis"
We planned a last minute, mid-week trip to the Cape. I researched quite a few hotels on the Internet, but many were booked already. I was a little skeptical of the Anchor In, the narratives read well, but some of the pictures did not do the place justice, given the price. I took a chance, and booked two nights, and am thrilled that I made that decision. The room was clean and very tastefully appointed. The bathroom had tile floors, a marble counter, thick towels and nice bath products. The room came with a min-fridge and coffee maker. The king size bed was comfortable and there was a good size tv. We had a nice balcony with a perfect view of the harbor and two chairs to enjoy the view. The continental breakfast was more than enough, with bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cheese , juice and plenty of coffee. And the room was lovely - we sat by big windows and ate while looking out over the harbor and their clean, well appointed pool area, with comfortable chairs, umbrellas and thick pool towels. There is even a fire pit that they light in the evenings - also overlooking the harbor. The location is also perfect for walking to shops and restaurants - no need to struggle for a parking space downtown. I am still amazed at how wonderful a place this is. It was worth the price and I would stay there again - and would recommend it to everyone.
