The owner demanded an extra €60 for ‘linens’ - ie towels & sheets a day before we arrived. We were not informed before this so had to agree - they were really poor quality. There was no lockbox as advertised and we had to make a diversion to collect the keys from the owner’s father’s house!?! (He was very nice though). There are lots of restaurants nearby and a nice selection of shops across the lake. "This very clean one bedroom apartment is, maybe, 50m from the beach. Great shops, restaurants in the area. Wonderful surfing. Great walking on the promenade. Both the bed and fold out couch were very comfortable. There is no AC which would have been very hot for us Canadians if the weather had not cooled down. Thankfully there were a couple fans provided. Otherwise, a wonderful place and Philippe was a great host, responding to all our enquires quickly."
