The sargassum was intolerable. They cleaned it up everyday, but the smell was off-putting. Not the fault of the hotel so no dings for that. Most of the staff were very friendly, but not all. Maybe they don’t care for tourists. Definitely a chill in the air on an otherwise balmy island. If we visit St. Lucia again, we’ll be looking for accommodations a little more upscale. Nice for families in a budget, however.
