Great place to stay when you make plans to go to the lake. Very nice home, roomy and comfortable. We brought our grandchildren and they enjoyed the deer that showed up everyday. Plenty of back porch space for enjoying the view.
Definitely an amazing place to stay! The views are breathtaking and we loved the wildlife Barbara is an awesome host and we look forward to visiting again soon!
Our stay was perfect. The view and location was exactly what we were looking for in a long weekend vacation. The property was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
We spent labor day weekend at Babara's house and we loved it! The house was spacious and cleaned with excellent view of Canyon Lake from afar from the back patio. It situated in a wooded, quiet neighborhood and we saw deers around the house every day, love it!
We were in town for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect space for my parents, my two girls, my husband and I. Beautiful and spacious place. The deer in the backyard were so fun to watch. Would definitely stay again!
Clean and bright.. 2 bedrooms wit private bathrooms, plus an overflow bedroom near the big master bedroom. Perfect for us... The host was very helpful -ade sure we had a mixer, since we were bringing mashed potatoes...
We loved our stay at this property. This was my third stay at this house. We especially enjoy the opportunity to feed the deer, up to six at a time in the back yard, and the two grey foxes that visited. It was extremely relaxing. The house is comfortable and welcoming. The host is easily accessible and responsive. We’ll be back!
This is the second time I have stayed at this house. Now planning a third stay with another mix of family. What a find! The view is breath taking. The neighborhood is peaceful. We fed as many as 10 deer and 3 foxes from the balcony at one time. The host is fantastic and prompt.
We enjoyed staying at this home. It was very comfortable and close enough to the lake to enjoy lots of activities. The lake level was very low from the drought, so getting your own boat on the lake can be a challenge until conditions improve. However, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the lake if you do your homework. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the backyard view from the porch. There are many neighbors, but they weren't a distraction to enjoying the backyard.

Overall pretty good
Nice place and loved all the windows and wildlife and the balcony. I was disappointed that it said we would have access to a pool and didn’t. I asked the owner about it and she hadn’t picked up the key from the HOA. I wouldn’t have booked there had I known we would not get to take our kids swimming. They still had fun since we got to go to our family’s to swim once but I was looking forward to spending more time in the pool. Very sweet owner and loved her art work all throughout the house. We had a good time overall.
Our stay at was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the home. The property was exactly as described, and even more beautiful in person. The location couldn't have been better. It was close to family and attractions. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances for cooking meals, and the living spaces were cozy and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the open spaces throughout the house.

Our host, Barbara, was incredibly responsive and helpful. She provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out and were available for any questions we had during our stay. Her local tips and recommendations were invaluable and made our trip even more enjoyable.
The view and local wildlife was a highlight of our stay.
We loved the watching the deer and fox from the back patio.
The property is highly recommended.
We loved the location! The home was spacious and easily accessible for my mother with mobility issues. The view of the lake was lovely and the backyard had lots of wildlife to enjoy. We enjoyed just lounging, talking, and looking at the lake. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn’t what we’d expected.. The linens hadn’t been changed for our stay, but Barbara had plenty of clean ones available and we easily found them. The bathrooms also weren’t as clean as we’d have liked (hair in sinks, soap containers had dark gunk under the pumps). The living room furniture also had animal hair on them- I’m guessing a previous guest brought an undeclared animal as Barbara had very clear signage not allowing pets…
Overall, however, we enjoyed our stay. Barbara was receptive to our concerns and we look forward to trying her beautiful home again, and if you want a spacious home with a wonderful peaceful view, give her home a try!
Loved seeing the deer and foxes in the yard. Nice peaceful neighborhood. Close to the lake and places we were going to. Would definitely recommend booking the house.
Beautiful property with comfortable beds, lovely artwork, and a breathtaking view. Wildlife was picturesque- deer and fox roamed the backyard. Would highly recommend bringing a bag of deer feed - we sat quietly on the large porch and they brought hours of entertainment. House was clean, in a cute, quiet neighborhood, with just a short drive to the river. Ms. Barbara communicated wonderfully as well - the house was easy to find and access. 5 stars.
This is hands down the best rental property I’ve ever stayed at! Barbara really goes above and beyond for her guests. The house has an amazing view all the way to the lake with a great back patio and yard with fire pit to make the most of it. The only downside is that the house is so great you’ll want to cancel your other plans and just stay in and enjoy the view and maybe spot a deer or two. If you get a chance to book this property, don’t miss out!
The house and property were amazing, honestly more than expected and the pics do not give it justice. We enjoyed the backyard and how fast we saw deer, birds and a fox. The view is amazing, the location was quiet and parking was great. We enjoyed it as a home away from home. Host was amazing but honestly everything we needed was there so we didn't have to contact her at all. Lots of things were provided. We will definitely return. The location was also near lots of family friendly locations.
Beautiful house beautiful atmosphere air condition was showing 71 but was not blowing air so it was hot in the house. Other than that that was the only issue.
